I purchased 4 lbs. of beef jerkey to give as Christmas gifts. All 4 family members that I gave the jerky too told me that their jerky molded horribly within just a few days of opening the package. I have emailed the company several times in an effort to get a refund and they seemed to be concerned and agreed to refund my money, but I have yet to recieve a refund and am getting nothing but lame excuses now. I had even included photos in the email of the molded jerky. So I would not recommend this business to anyone after this experience. read more

We were driving through Post on our way to the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque New Mexico. Saw a billboard advertising best jerky in West Texas. As I love beef jerky my wife and I decided to stop and buy some. The price was very good so we bought 2 pounds. Sampled it when we were in Albuquerque and decided we had to have some more. On the way back to Houston we stopped and got three more pounds. Kept three and gave away 2 pounds to family and friends. It is a lot thicker than the beef jerky that I'm used to but the flavor was fantastic. read more

I saw a spot on TV about this place and having lived in Lubbock for a few years, was familiar with Post, Texas. The segment highlighted the thick peppery jerky and I had to get my hands on some. Today the meat was delivered and it is without a doubt the best jerky I've ever had. Lots of pepper, but not too spicy and the flavor of the beef is just outstanding!! We traveled through Post, Tx on our way to the Grand Canyon. There road side sign advertising Best Beef Jerky was easy to miss but I'm so glad we didn't!! We bought 2 lbs of the pepper jerky and we all say it was the best jerky we have ever had!! We stopped for jerky but wound up getting steaks too. Great prices on everything and very tender. The jerky is incredible. We live in Utah and used to stop in Post on our way to, and from Abilene for a Holly Burger and Jackson Brothers beef Jerky. If you haven't had either, both are a must. Holly's won't ship me a burger, but Jamie is more than accommodating and will ship jerky. I've not purchased any of their other meats.
