This is a review of the JX Ranch Natural Beef, but I have to say a few words on the other side to these great people. Not only do they produce wonderful Natural Beef, they also run a 7,000-acre working ranch and guest ranch also. Operated since 2004 the JX Ranch produces all Natural Beef, grass finished, dry aged, lean and hormone free beef. I was referred to this place by my good friend Vanessa. Mimi comes to Clovis about every 3 weeks, and I missed out. I didn't get in on the "Reserve your Beef" trip on their website. This is defiantly a "Word of Mouth" business, and I have heard a lot of good from many people. Soooo... I thought I would drive to them...Yes it was 1.5 hour drive one way. If you taste this beef you would do the same, so don't judge. I am a very passionate Rib-Eye Steak lover, but when I was talking to Mimi she said, I should try the Sirloin steak, and I would like it better. Ok.. this is the only time I will say this in any of my reviews.... (I did a side by side comparison of both cuts)...Ok.. the Sirloin was very tender and full of flavor, and I would choose it over my beloved Rib-Eye. But only with JX Ranch beef. I love this beef, very high quality. It would be very hard to go back to super-market meat. Also as a test, I made jerky out of the cubed beef, and the sirloin steak that was seared on the grill. I have to be honest, I received some high marks on the jerky, but I have to give the credit to JX Ranch's beef. Huh.. what to eat now?

The orders have come quickly and the people I've talked with at JX Rancher are incredibly nice. The only reason I stopped ordering was the hassle. They seem to have problems keeping their orders straight. They told me I was getting something I wasn't, billed the wrong paypal account and sent me multiple invoices for the incorrect amount. It was easier for me to just buy grassfed from the butcher but I definitely feel like I'm sacrificing quality for convenience.
