DO NOT use this shoe repair. First, the place is an unorganized and chaotic DUMP. I was charged 30 dollars for replacement sole pads on the heels of a pair of women's slip-ons. OUTRAGEOUS price for two little rubber pieces. I requested anti-slip strips for the toes (bottom of sole), glue down foot liners, and polish leather scuffs with gold cream polish. He did NONE of this. Additionally, when he nailed in one of the replacement heel caps, he split the heel of the shoe and now it's all uneven and broken. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!!!!! read more

I've taken my shoes to Jack's before and had great experiences. This time, I took 5 shoes in, all with different issues, but all minor. Upon arrival, his daughter gave me 5 tickets for my shoes and told me to place them wherever and they would be done in a week. One week later, I arrive to pick up my shoes and they were nowhere to be found. A few days later, my husband was able to pick up 4 of the 5 shoes, but they couldn't find my last shoe. My husbands repair broke within minutes of him putting his shoe on. We called week after week, we even showed up at the location to ask about the lost shoe and they could never locate it. We were told he would find it in the next week or 'make it right'. He then started screening our calls. It's been over 7 months and we still haven't found the shoe. Super bummed considering they were $80 pair of shoes. I would be hesitant to bring my shoes there for repair. They do great work but organizational skills could use some work. read more

It seems the guy wasn't paying attention when I told him what I needed to be done in my boots. I needed to get one sole glued, the scratches to be covered and the heels to be changed. A couple days later I got texts saying they were ready to pick up so I drove all the way up (30 minutes) to find out the sole was not glued and all the scratches still there, not even like some leather cream or anything. I would not recommend going here if you ever plan on getting your shoes back. I dropped a pair of sandles off over 2 weeks ago to be stretched, and went to pick them up last week and there was a sign hanging in the door that said he was "gone fishing." I tried back again today and he tried to hand me a gold pair of shoes that did not belong to me. I ended up having to dig through a pile of other peoples used shoes to find my own. All he could say was " they must have got buried." I had 2 pairs of boots to repair - the soles, heels and front toe on one. I went in and was told they would be ready in a few days on a set date. I returned on the set date and they weren't done. I was told to return on another date. I returned and found that only one pair was complete but to return on another date for my next pair. When I returned again they were finished. The work was good but the shop is disorganized and full of shoes - not sure how he keeps up with whose shoes are who's. My only complaint was the timeliness so if you're in a rush beware. Otherwise, the quality of his work was great and it cost $30 to repair 2 pairs of boots that I love rather than having to buy new pairs. read more

I just moved to the Ogden area and got lost on the way to the store. I called them maybe 5 times because I couldn't find the store due to my phone wanting to take me to north Ogden. He was very nice and had no problem helping me find where I was going. He never acted irritated at all. I dropped off my sons cowboy boots to have them stretched. It was very inexpensive and he did a great job. All the spots that were hurting my 2 year olds feet were fixed and he wore his boots for 5 hours the day after getting them back without a single complaint. Don't waste your time here, he ruined my boots! It took this man almost ONE Month to finish my boots! He had a million excuses. I should have known by the huge disorderly mess of shoes he had piled all over. He told me they would be ready in four days (this was on my ticket) Well, that time frame came and went as did all his excuses. When I came in today and picked them up, the job he did was anything but professional. My boots look horrible! I asked for a discount, since he made me wait so long..no such luck. I got home and tried them on...THEY DONT FIT ME! What did he do? Oh my gosh, please don't take your shoes to him! I am going to let him know what a shoddy job he did. I will file a report with the BBB. There is no saving these boots that I loved so much, I now have to throw them out. He should have to buy me a new pair.
