Bought a used 2017 4x4 Mercedes sprinter sight unseen, brought it to these guys to go over it, and…read morefelt extremely well taken care of. They're thorough, take time on the phone, document everything, and are just generally a pleasure to work with. Brandon handled for me, and it's obvious he knows Sprinters inside and out, and they coordinated their work with my conversion company for the van and handled transporting the van for me across town, etc. Easy five star experience.

BG Automotive? More like "BS" Automotive. The one star is for an oil change (since 0 stars is not…read morean option). BG Auto IS SHADY, smooth talking for sure, but A RIP OFF. STAY AWAY. This is a lengthy description, but it's not half the story. To all the glowing 5 star reviewers - check your invoices. The problem started with their "courtesy inspection" accompanying the oil change, where half of their recommendations (deemed red flag "Requires Immediate Attention") ultimately turned out to be mostly unnecessary and absurdly expensive. That became apparent only after paying. My bad, of course, I obviously should have asked to see a detailed estimate prior to the work. The initial estimate did not provide parts or labor detail & appeared to indicate the work was part of a "complete tune up." Upon dropping off the truck, "Service Advisor"Jesse stated that Champion copper spark plugs had been factory installed on 2013 RAM 2500s, so that was best & what BG would install. Classic BAIT & SWITCH: BG charged $508.48 for a set of 16 plugs! When I challenged the bill, asking if "kryptonite plugs" were installed instead, Jesse indicated, no, the copper plugs were used... then he checked his computer & stated, actually no, in fact the [far] more expensive NKG iridium plugs were installed. "They're much better because they last up to 100,000 miles," he emphasized. I replied, "Great. BG just changed out NGK iridium plugs that had been in the engine already, with only 60,000 miles on them." The WORK WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Also on the bill was a "TOTAL FEES" charge of $175.77 (yes, that specific), but with ZERO DETAIL of what those fees were for or how they were calculated. Jesse couldn't provide that detail either, "It could be shop supplies, or hazardous disposal - you know, those state regulations - it could be almost anything." Note there were no hazardous materials involved with this work, such as a tire or battery disposal fee. (Google search indicates: In Colorado, shop fees are usually calculated as a percentage of the labor cost (e.g., 5-10%) and are often capped at a maximum amount (e.g., $25 to $50). Also, Colorado statute requires the repair invoice to have some kind of description of these fees, and further, "a description of each part by name and identifying number." Nowhere on the invoice was the type of plugs installed specified, either. You get NADA DETAIL from BS Automotive. Finally, while repair shops typically mark up parts 70-100% of wholesale price, BG is marking up parts in the ballpark of 100% of retail price. (If you can pry out of them the parts brand they say they'll use, you can easily verify this with a Google search at their counter.) They should be ashamed and embarrassed for what they're charging the hardworking folks of Longmont. When pressed to justify the charges, Jesse insisted they were competitive, "within 5% of other local repair shops." More BS. Comparing apples to apples (parts & labor only), the local dealership quoted over $200 less, the Loveland repair shop I've frequented in the past was over $400 less (obviously, checked after the fact...). If the handful of other shops Jesse quoted are actually within 5%, they are ripping us off too. Jesse would not budge on the final bill, but he did offer to comp me an oil change. As if! I had already told him I would never set foot in BG Automotive again. However, I would take a call from the BG Automotive (Owner) to provide the rest of the story about this pathetic BG encounter.

There is a dearth of honest and dependable RV service providers across the country. It's a shame…read moreand a real frustration for folks like us who travel full-time and frequently require expert service. I have intentionally waited several weeks since our repairs were completed at DM RV to make sure that my feelings were in proper perspective before writing this review. But no amount of time will change my opinion of Don, Marianne, Huey and the rest of the staff here. They are competent, honest and they treated us the way they would want to be treated. The golden rule is in short supply in the RV repair industry but we hit the mother lode at DM RV.

if there was a negative number this company would have a -1,000,000, but I had to at least do a one…read moreto get this thing posted!!! You are lying just like everybody else that works there. Because you keep sticking up for them when they do shitty work. The batteries were just looked at couple weeks ago and they have corrosion all over them the guy said that they were never ever maintained and you can tell that, and I am enclosing a picture. They were not cleaned or serviced. The jacks still do not work and the one that I told him them about is still not working on the right front, they lie about everything!!!! Don't try to blame me for the leaking in the window on the driver side when it's leaking from the very top not from a window that might've been left open, once again trying to put the blame on me for something that someone in your lousy company did NOT DO AND CHARGED ME FOR!!!!!And I have pictures to prove it the leaking's nowhere even near an open window, it's coming from where I asked them to caulk and it was never done. The other window SCREEN is broken because they stuck a hose to it that is what your LYING technician or mechanic or whatever you wanna call him said. I am sick and tired of you guys trying to rip everybody off especially other old people that probably cannot even read the bill correctly. And you did call and ask For an additional $185 for the hitch. On top of the additional 185 you already charged me so that makes it pretty near $400! And I do have all my documentation and I have pictures to prove it. In my car that you supposedly put in a new lightbulb does not work in the back charge me $10 and I had one in the glove box I was going to use now my car blinker will not turn off when I turn the corner and that is due to a faulty lightbulb! The worst part was when I called because the RV braking system that you installed was not charging and I could not continue on my trip. So I stopped in Destin. And now I am going to go ahead and add in economic distress charges along with emotional distress that this has caused me. And I wish you all luck in hiring a lawyer and going to court because the paperwork is in the process!!! I could go on and on but the whole truth is is that I hope and pray nobody ever ever ever takes their RV to your shop ever !!!!... and just because you've been in business for that many years does not mean that you've been an honest person so there's that, this company is horrible!!!!!
