A nice lounge for Star Alliance Gold passengers. No comparison to United's Polaris lounge at SFO…read morewhich is closer to, though not at the level of, the LH First Class Lounges/Terminal. To get to the bathrooms, you have to exit the Senator Lounge and go around the corner to the Business Lounge. Not ideal. Rather than just having the self service bar like at FRA, there is a Bar that has wines at the counter, but there is generally no staff behind the counter to prepare drinks although that appears to be the only options for cocktails. When I refilled my wine, there was a customer sitting right in front of the bottles and I had to reach around him to do so. He was oblivious talking on his phone and paid no attention to me. It was a little bizarre.

Well, imagine my surprise when I scanned my boating pass at the counter and was immediately directed into the Senator Lounge! :-D Huge, spacious, modern, and just purely AWESOME! Tons of food, and a full bar that rivals high-end restaurants. Lots of places to sit with outlets to charge your devices. I found a nice lounge chair adter I pulled myself a frosty glass of Franziskanner Weissbier. Several TVs showed both local TV as well as CNN. Here's hoping I keep getting directed to Senator Lounges in the future!

Meh, this is an average looking lounge. Definitely not as nice as other lounges that I've been to…read morewith the priority pass. Sofas are pretty dirty. There's not a lot of food here. Mostly little snacks like pretzel, biscuit, cupcake, olives, tomatoes, yogurt, potato chips, chocolate. There's a coffee machine that can also make lattes/macchiatos/espresso etc. Soda and water. There isn't any food that you can make a meal out of. I don't really recommend going out of your way to come to this lounge unless you have alot of time to waste or really wanna get away from the regular people. TIP: This lounge is located in terminal 1. If your flight is at terminal 2, there's a bus that connects you between the terminals. Bus comes every 15 minutes. If your flight is at terminal 2, You can access the Atlantic Lounge by going through the terminal 1, gate C (business/priority security line (not the regular line)). You have to tell the security guy you want to go to Atlantic lounge because the computers will reject your boarding pass. Once you go through security check and immigration, and find the lounge, the bus that transports you back to terminal 2 is only about a 5 minute walk away from the lounge. On the bus, it's like another 5 minute ride to the terminal 2. Give yourself extra time to travel to your gate! My flight was at terminal 2 gate L25. Even after I got off the bus, I had to take another shuttle to my gate.

It's behind a cage built by Camel cigarettes to capture smokers. Or else it's just an enclosed room for people to smoke in. Either way look for the giant camel statue. The lounge itself is just a single room with some sofas and chairs. The food at hand was snacks such as muffins, pretzels, and fruit. There was alcohol and soda available also. They also have an automated machine for coffee or hot chocolate. You're not going to get a full meal here but I was happy to get some fruit and water without having to pay for it in a gift store. We were able to relax here for an hour before heading back to the states. It made a long day of travel more bearable.

In one instance, I was able to grab a late lunch in the lounge. On my second visit, I was able to get breakfast. Both were pretty good for lounge food. From a service perspective, staff were walking around and quickly picked up plates and cups. All in all, it was a pretty good lounge experience for busy days of travel.

L11 lounge Who -proceeded to repeatedly indicate that "thats not for here you have to go to Terminal 1," and then proceeded to point to my cousin and say she can't come in without even knowing if she was a platinum card holder. I indicated to him I was a platinum card holder and that what he was saying is not correct based upon the terms and condition.. He kept saying no that's not accepted, you have to go to terminal 1 to which I responded so you are not going to allow me to come in and he indicated "NO" we located a spot to relax and eat. Returning to our gate after reviewing the terms and agreement of my platinum membership card I returned to the lounge with my platinum card displayed and stated that he was incorrect. his response was "We close in 10 minutes" again pointing at my cousin indicating that she could not come in without knowing if she was a platinum card holder as well. To say i was disappointed with the reception I received is an understatement. My concern is- should i anticipate treatment like this as a AMEX platnum-card member, upon visiting other lounges as a part of my membership benefits. E.Peterson
