Lufthansa puts in a pretty darn good spread for an airport lounge. If you are Star Alliance Gold you can enter freely. They had NA beer, great soup, dark bread, desert and a superbly engineered cappuccino maker. Also, they have lockers so if you want to stash your stuff for an hour or two to walk around, they've got you covered.

Excellent lounge with good food, drinks, alcohol, and snacks. They have super clean restrooms, showers, and sleep areas also. Beer on tap, wine, and a selection of hard alcohol you serve yourself. Much better than anything we have in the USA.

Simple breakfast and relatively small lounge. Coffee/expresso machine and a bar. Beer on tap. Appreciate the veggies both cold and some hot. Nice and quiet.

After discovering they serve Weisswurst here, I told myself I would try to connect here instead of Frankfurt more often. Frankfurt Senator lounges do not serve Weisswurst. Not any other German locations. Only at Munich, they serve Weisswurst along with sweet mustard. It's rather small here but large enough for #of passengers they have. Service is always great. They have shower facilities here should you ever need one. I couldn't take any of their mustard package home. We are not supposed to take any in the first place but I couldn't as I don't have checked luggage. Traveling with carry on only limits what I can take. Still looking for this mustard back home. If you see one, you know how to contact me. Thank you.

This lounge is fun. The interior is a little boring, but still modern. The food looks nice, but it made me gag, so I didn't finish my plate. I had some of the pretzel. I also had some eggs, beans, hash brown, etc. It was a breakfast, but I wanted lunch food. They have beer on tap. They have juices. It's a good spread and it's not a waste of time.

Clean nice people and the alcohol is good. Hendricks and soda and I'm good. Also food options are German butter cheese, pretzels, everything else in the lounge you expect. The seating is comfortable. Good situation when your in the lounge.

Definitely worth the trek from the Senator lounge in the G gates area (Schengen) if you can afford the time. This lounge is more spacious and the workstations are quiet. Also can catch a hour or two of shuteye on extended layovers.

    Dinner. Sad. But true.

It can get crowded but around 7pm it starts emptying out. Decent beers. Warm food. Plenty of plugs. And one sleeping room from what I could tell though I'm not sure how one gets access to that.

It was OK, meh. I did like the self pour wine station. While the selection was limited, it was a nice touch to be able to help yourself to a glass while waiting to board. Overall, the food could use some improvement but worth it for a quick bite and drinks!

The facilities basically remain the same but the experience is much nicer now. Free WIFI is now also available, though you will have to type in the SSID (network name) in your device as the network does not advertise itself. The name of the network is indicated at the reception desk. The network also supports VPN connections. My pet peeve, the lavatories, has also been fixed. They used to be dramatically untidy (not necessarily dirty). The times I've used them since the facelift they've been very tidy! It also looks like there is more staff available to keep things nice. The selection of magazines and newspapers has been greatly improved. Though non of the papers or magazines are marked with 'property of' labels I imagine the selection being larger at the beginning of the month, and progressively more magazine get taken on the flights. I think the improvements are worth 1.5 stars but can't award 0.5 stars. Only area for improvement is the catering.

Mostly little snacks like pretzel, biscuit, cupcake, olives, tomatoes, yogurt, potato chips, chocolate. There's a coffee machine that can also make lattes/macchiatos/espresso etc. Soda and water. There isn't any food that you can make a meal out of. I don't really recommend going out of your way to come to this lounge unless you have alot of time to waste or really wanna get away from the regular people. TIP: This lounge is located in terminal 1. If your flight is at terminal 2, there's a bus that connects you between the terminals. Bus comes every 15 minutes. If your flight is at terminal 2, You can access the Atlantic Lounge by going through the terminal 1, gate C (business/priority security line (not the regular line)). You have to tell the security guy you want to go to Atlantic lounge because the computers will reject your boarding pass. Once you go through security check and immigration, and find the lounge, the bus that transports you back to terminal 2 is only about a 5 minute walk away from the lounge. On the bus, it's like another 5 minute ride to the terminal 2. Give yourself extra time to travel to your gate! My flight was at terminal 2 gate L25. Even after I got off the bus, I had to take another shuttle to my gate.

It's behind a cage built by Camel cigarettes to capture smokers. Or else it's just an enclosed room for people to smoke in. Either way look for the giant camel statue. The lounge itself is just a single room with some sofas and chairs. The food at hand was snacks such as muffins, pretzels, and fruit. There was alcohol and soda available also. They also have an automated machine for coffee or hot chocolate. You're not going to get a full meal here but I was happy to get some fruit and water without having to pay for it in a gift store. We were able to relax here for an hour before heading back to the states. It made a long day of travel more bearable.

After an extremely lengthy immigration and security process, we were able to get into the lounge by 8:30pm. We had left our hotel at 6:30 pm and in the middle of all the sightseeing we had not taken a break for lunch or dinner (just coffee & a sandwich on the go). So we were hungry & a bit on edge. It was a bit of a maze to locate the lounge, but the staff at the desk were extremely welcoming and friendly. The problem was when it came to the refreshments. The coffee machine was great & we had some wonderful coffee, there was a pretty decent alcohol selection, but we don't drink before & during flights. It was the food that was woefully inadequate. There were a few crumbling sandwiches, some so called spicy chicken and a potato snack option. Both were cold, hard, dry and tasteless. There was one packet of crisps left, which I picked up and we ate that and a tiny pot of ice cream and sipped on our coffee. We watched them clear up all the tables at 8:40 and thought that they would bring out some fresh hot food. It was only at 9:00 that we realised that they were cleaning up in anticipation of closing down. This was too late for us to even consider visiting another eatery in the airport. The problem was that by the time we reached London T5 and cleared immigration it was 10:30 and the only option at T5 on arrival is Costa which I definitely did not want. Too late to order delivery once we got home too. So we had to be content with instant noodles. If you are hungry when you arrive at Munich airport (Budget at least one hour for the queues, even if you are a gold card holder or flying Business class), don't bother finding the lounge, but eat at one of the restaurants immediately after you are through. If you just want a quiet place to sit down and sip on a drink, only then head to the BA lounge.

In light of recent improvements, I have upgraded my review of this lounge from "crummy" to "shabby…read moregenteel". Congratulations, BA!
