I rolled up, not very hungry. A love of custard driving through town after just vising the state capitol - and on my way west. What I left with wasn't just an appreciation for Little Rock, it was also a massive S-Tier custard with the single best topping I have ever had. Homemade cinnamon oatmeal cookie dough? The only thing I am upset about is that I will never know when I will be able to eat this again. Because even the few other Shakes across the country (yes, I looked) don't seem to have this option. The new location is fantastic; the old building worked fine but it was starting to show it's age. The building itself is big, high vaulted ceilings and feels like home. The giant hearth in the back is a nice touch. For me, because of the food and partly because of nostalgia, this is one of the must stop places when I'm in the area. I actually brought a bunch of friends up here from New Orleans on a day trip once, it's that good.
