I can't believe I went to this establishment craving some sorbet. They had three different flavors and I asked to sample them. I was told they didn't offer samples which should have been my hint to leave but no I decided to get a pint of watermelon apple. A pint costs me $11.00. It was approximately two scoops of sorbet. The shop is cute. The place is small but that's not a bad thing. The girls working were very nice. They didn't seem very knowledgeable about the macaroons that they sell. So we got an ice cream cone with 2 scoops in a waffle cone. That was my mother's. She enjoyed the ice cream but not the cone at all. We got my father in law a shake. I was surprised to hear you can only get that in vanilla or chocolate when they have so many flavors of ice cream. You would kinda think any ice cream could be a shake? I then got 3 scoops of ice cream. So I could try different flavors. The ice cream itself was really good. That's the positive here. But I can get that from the source in Little Rock. The price was $26 for those 3 things. Expensive for just some ice cream. Then I seen they have macarons. I asked the flavors she was completely unsure. So I asked for 2 of them they are $2.66 each. Had the Pinnacle ice cream which was a dark chocolate dairy free and vegan ice cream made from coconut milk with pecans, toasted coconut and tiny chocolate chips. It was delicious! Tasted like one of the best German chocolate cakes I've had! They also had some local honey for sale that I purchased and put it in my tea that evening and it was wonderful! This place is SUPER cute - great ambiance, great service, and really excellent sorbet. Minus one star because the ice cream was really icy - I guess it's really authentically hand-churned. I just prefer my ice cream a lot creamier. My friend raved about this place because she had come here three days in a row; I usually prefer ice cream over sorbet, so I tried a bunch of flavors. I did really like the actual flavors, especially the key lime. I ended up getting that one and something else that I already forgot LOL. I got two half-scoops, so my ice cream was super cheap and exactly enough for me. We took some insta photos and then sat outside on the wooden benches under some stringed lights; it almost felt like I was in a small city. When I tried my friend's piña colada sorbet, I was surprised by how creamy and delicious it was. Everything was really on point; I would definitely come back to The Soda Jerk for it. One of my friends also got the honey lavender ice cream in the honey lavender soda; that was really good, too. All around a super cute establishment - I'll be back. read more

This place is amazing I have been a few times with my family and love the ice cream! I have had the Carmelo coffee iced so good I am a sucker for anything Carmel! I just recently tried the lotus drinks I had the strawberry with raspberry blended let me tell you they are amazing the flavors are so good. And the energy is nice I didn't have a crash or the jitters like I do with other energy drinks! The owner is such a great person and the staff is so kind and make you smile every time you walk in! Every flavor is awesome, the sodas are great, the place is pleasant. The sampler made the most sense- we couldn't narrow down what we wanted to just a few flavors. We can only hope that downtown Searcy continues in this direction!! read more

The soda jerk is so good! Best ice cream in searcy. They are a little expensive but it is loblolly ice cream so that's okay with me, it's the only place you can get it in searcy that I'm aware of. The only thing I dislike is they don't continuously keep the same flavors. So you may find one you LOVE but next time they won't have it. I don't think they've had my personal favorite in more than a year :( but other flavors are very good too! read more
