That drum had the same metal burrs that we had in the original washer! The service professional agreed. I heard him tell his colleague that it had been inspected and he was told it was okay. And again we will be back at the laundromat without any reimbursement after spending $1500 on their product!! We are having a big renovation project done at our house, and purchased all high-end kitchen appliances from Haywood. We also purchased the top tier Speed Queen washer/dryer. Two weeks after delivery our clothes came out with snags. Two pair of men's dress pants are completely ruined. Other clothes have small snags all over. We discovered a metal burr sticking out between where the tub drum meets the base. When the service professional came, he stated that he had never seen a Speed Queen drum like that before. Haywood said they would replace the drum. We asked for a replacement machine and were denied, even though we have made such large purchases from them. We feel that this washer was not inspected properly, because it would not have passed. It makes us wonder what other problems will occur later. They informed us that they would not reimburse for the clothes nor have they offered reimbursement for the expense of the laundromat, even after spending $1500 on a washer! We are sure that no employee at Haywood would accept this washer. Therefore, a customer should not be forced to do so. I sure hope they stand behind the kitchen appliances!

The "new" oven I bought is not eligible for the whirlpool warranty as it was first registered in 2013!! I have reported them to the NCDOJ consumer protection division. Previous review: I wanted so badly to give them a good review, because they advertise being veteran owned. But I was treated like the scum of the earth when they were unable to deliver my appliances for 2 weeks, and the "new" range I bought the oven didn't work. They did refund my delivery fee, after I had to rent a trailer to go pick up the appliances. I had to unload them and get them in the house on my own, which is why I wanted the delivery in the first place. The salesman plugged in the appliances when I was there, and it all seemed fine. When I tried to use the oven, it came on but would not get to temperature after an hour. I was told I probably just didn't know how to use it, and that even if I brought it back it would be weeks before they could fix it and they didn't have a different one they could replace it with. Plus, I'd have to bring it to them for them to do anything about it, which is fine, but don't treat me like a criminal for trying to get it resolved. If you have time to wait for delivery or have a way to pick them up, then I guess it's okay. But I definitely don't have $500 to spend on a range that doesn't work. I wish I'd just spent the extra on a big box store. At least I wouldn't have been treated this way. Unfortunately, they are not registered as a veteran owned business, which carries a standard of care for its customers, and ethical practices. The reason they state no refunds is because they do not stand behind the products they sell, but they will take your money whether they work or not. Lesson learned. I will try to get it resolved as best I can, and hope they do the right thing in the end.

This was clearly not a supply chain issue. Therefore, I contacted Dreamline directly, and I discovered that the order had never been placed by Ferguson. It was only with the direct intervention and follow up from the manufacturer that I finally received the shower doors. Dreamline was fanastic to do business with, and their product is great too.
