More important though is their follow through and guarantee on their work and the cabinets. This week we had an issue with one of the drawers. We called them and Scott came out the very next day. He quickly identified the problem with the way this one cabinet was put together at the factory several years ago and quickly fixed the problem. He didn't stop there. He then inspected every drawer in the kitchen and when he identified the potential for a future problem, he fixed it. He also adjusted all the drawers and cabinet drawers. We were well beyond any manufacturer's warranty. He was here for over an hour, but there was absolutely no charge. Scott stands by his work and the cabinets he sells. Amazing customer service. Unfortunately that day my phone was out of battery so I couldn't check prices online for their merchandise. Just because they call themselves "liquidators" and have a cash only and no refund policy, does not mean their prices are any lower than anywhere with more standard business practices. In any case, I saw a range I liked for $1400 and decided to put a deposit down of $200 with Dan for it for pickup and payment of the $1200 balance on 1/2/2022. Dan was a nice enough worker there. After I went home I found 3 stores (the manufacturer, lowes and home depot) ALL selling the range for $100 LESS than these supposed "liquidators". I came back on 1/2/22 and unfortunately Dan was not there. But instead the owner was. The owner at first flatly refused to do anything for me. In fact he bragged about how many ferraris he owned like a cheap hooker might. After explaining over and over to him that I could buy the same range directly from the manufacturer for less, he said the best he could do was sell it to me for the same amount. Now think about that for a second... considering you are FAR better protected as a consumer buying from the manufacturer for an expensive item like a range, this was simply not worth it to me. I tried explaining that to the owner which he knew and understood but he literally "too bad, suck it up." I offered the owner several possible options. I offered to buy a $131 garbage disposal for the $200 I already gave him. No go. I offered to buy as much as $1400 in other items from the store in case it was an issue of me promising a certain amount of money. No go. At every turn the owner was rude and condescending, though I tried to explain to him politely how I could not buy the range for the same price I could get it elsewhere with normal business practices and consumer protection. In the end he said I had the only option for me was to do that or he was going to keep my $200! Granted I put that down as a deposit and their policies stated that I cannot transfer the deposit to anything else. My fault for trusting this place to have better prices than bigger, better stores with normal business practices and consumer protection. But can you believe what a cheapskate this supposed multiple ferrari owner is?? He was yelling at me how he was happy he "earned" my $200 as I left the store. This guy is exactly what has gone wrong with business in this beautiful country today. Motivated by nothing but pure greed! Anyway after I left, he had one of his employees text message me to tell me that the range was not available anywhere for that price. That the big box stores selling it, all had it sold out or backordered. This was a total lie and I sent her the link to home depot which shows it as available today for free home delivery in just a few days. I attached a screenshot today showing it available so you can see for yourself their lies. I asked her about the owner's business practices and how he was bragging about his ferraris. I wondered if there wasnt a racial component to it, since he was so condesending and rude to me repeatedly. She of course completely ignored her text message typed lies to me, she said I had no class and even called me a racist! Omg, if that isnt something else? She then told me she was blocking me (I guess because at this point the owner just decided to keep my money because his lies were obviously going to fail completely--see the screenshot for yourself!) If you are going here expecting any kind of real discount, or humane and decent treatment, guess again. This place is as ruthless a ripoff as they come. Be very much aware and make sure you use your phone to check prices at stores with normal business practices. If you are paying cash only with no refund policy, expect a DEEP discount. But walking around the store you can find many items marked for more than regular stores! I would suggest avoiding this store completely. I lost $200 and will never go back.

Ms. Andrea…read moreLeigh Martin has cut off all communication with us, is refusing to provide the location of our paid-for property, and has threatened to resell it. The Core Issues: * Paid in Full for Potentially Non-Existent Goods: We are currently on our second licensed builder for this project. Our first builder paid Ms. Martin / Meliora House of Design in full for our cabinetry. Despite that, she attempted to alter contract terms, wanting us to sign a new agreement and pay additional fees. Crucially, I contacted her designated cabinet builder, who advised that our cabinets were never actually built. * Police Intervention: When Police contacted her regarding the withholding of our property, she claimed that only our current builder could pick the cabinets up. However, our builder has no contract with her, and she still refuses to provide a physical pickup address to us (the rightful owners). * Additional Conditions: Andrea has stated in writing that she will consider our $55,000 worth of cabinetry "abandoned" and will pursue "resale" within 14 days, all while blocking our ability to retrieve them. Law Enforcement, Public Records & Legal Actions: * Department of Justice: Due to the nature of these business practices, a formal report has been officially filed against Ms. Martin with the Department of Justice (DOJ). * Federal Court Action: On March 17, 2026, a federal default action was entered against Andrea Leigh Martin and Meliora House of Design, LLC in the Western District Court of North Carolina, stemming from a massive $250,000 judgment claim. * Extensive Liens: Public records reveal that Ms. Martin currently has 6 active liens filed against her. Summary: Andrea Martin took a massive up-front payment, failed to deliver or install, misrepresented production status, and used threats of reselling cabinets we paid for--which her own designated cabinet builder confirmed to us were never actually built. To clarify her spin: she messaged our current builder to pick up the cabinets, but proceeded to change the pickup location and stipulations over and over until they understandably refused to engage further with her erratic runaround. Please note that on previous negative reviews, Andrea consistently blames the customer and claims she made "upgrades at no cost." To be clear: she did not provide any upgrades to us--and it wouldn't matter, because she never produced or delivered the cabinetry required by our contract. Also, be cognizant of any positive reviews that fail to mention Andrea actually completing or delivering physical work. Furthermore, Andrea claimed she had counsel and advised us to go through them. We would have happily done so, as we don't believe any ethical attorney would advise a client to do anything other than deliver the goods paid for in full. Despite her bluster, no legitimate legal representative has ever stepped forward to coordinate a resolution. Andrea will rightfully state this process has been drawn out over a 2 year period. In that time, we thought we established a "friendship." Unfortunately, as you can see from other reviews, that doesn't seem to matter. Due to the significant delays Andrea Martin has caused, we have had to hire a new cabinet company. In addition to incurring that expense, we were informed that her measurements were significantly off.

Silver Construction, with zero reference, just on a hunch that his honest voice and warm demeanor provided us. THE BEST DECISION EVER! Kevin remodeled our manufactured home entirely, walls, ceiling, floors, bathrooms, kitchen, doors, baseboard, crown molding, roof, decks and transform it into our dreamed home. We knew exactly what we wanted done but were not sure we would be fully understood. We wanted to change the entire inside and outside look of a manufactured home into a regular build on-site house. We explained our idea, showed him some pictures and Kevin capture our idea 100%. The house came out beautiful and all the wood details we wanted made this remodeling incredibly gorgeous.
