We hired Forest Millwork to replace our cabinet in our kitchen and add a new island. This is one…read moreof the worst vendors with whom we have worked. During the sales process, they were great and creative, but once the contract was signed, their real face was reviled. They had staff attrition, the person we worked with during the pre-sales left, and they didn't bother to tell us. At that point, we should have terminated the agreement. - They completed a one month project in 4 months - The quality of the work was terrible. They didn't measure many things accurately; some cabinets were damaged when they were delivered, and some cabinets cracked before the project was even completed. - They promised to manage the project, and they did none of that - They ruined our hardwood floor and refused to fix it. - Leslie who ended up leading the project was rude to other vendors and us and not attentive to details at all (she didn't even come to see the completed product) When we started working with their team, we found out that every vendor they contracted with to complete the work had complaints about them. We chose to work with them because of the great review on Google and the pre-sales. Don't believe these positive reviews and stay away from this company.

We met Angie who was amazing and really knew her business well. Angie held our hand through the process of designing and delivery (early on we lost our contractor and had to do the work ourselves which wound up being preferable) and we were so "covered" by Angie's knowledge and expertise and she kept us at ease. All finished now, we are thrilled with our new kitchen/great room and we cannot thank Angie enough, and her team at Nova who all were very helpful, and highly recommend that you speak to Angie and Nova if you are considering a new kitchen or bath. She is the BEST!!! Thanks Angie!

I have followed up only to be told they are busy and have people on vacation this summer. They then say they sent me the quote but can't provide any record of the email to show it was a "emailing mistake" (because this wasn't) This is nothing short of poor customer service, people falling through the cracks, and failure to follow up with customers. I'm glad we will be remodeling our kitchen with another company, after the runaround just trying to get a quote I would hate to experience actually working with them on a project. What a nightmare of a customer experience!

My neighbor sells lumber, so I bought materials from him...and I very much appreciated Tripp coordinating with him to make sure the design was correct. There were some minor disconnects that they were able to remedy giving us the look we wanted. They included a project mgr, Jay, who did a good job of keeping us up to date on the schedule, and the steps needed for a finished project. They did a good job cleaning up after a days work. I realize that I could have found a less expensive option, but I thrilled with the final results. And since it is composite, that's the last time I have to worry about it.

The bids for the original work and for the added scope were far. While removing the old decking rot was found under a good portion of the deck. After talking with Ron the project manager, we determined the best way forward was to rebuild the entire deck. Everyone on his team were great to work with. The carpenters assigned to this project were professional, meticulous, and cleaned up the job site every day. Overall the finished project exceeded our expectations, and we get lots of complements on the finished project.

Heart to Home (H2H) did an outstanding job on a studs-out guest bathroom remodel (Fall 2023) We…read morehighly recommend them! We were impressed with H2H at every stage of the project and thrilled with the results. They nailed every measure of success. They listened to what we wanted and clearly reflected our priorities and constraints in their proposal, detailed design and estimate. They exemplified professionalism, attention to detail, quality of work, clear communication and delivered on schedule and on budget. The few changes were mostly due to our requests. Any variations from the original plan/estimate were transparently discussed, approved by us, and tracked, so there were no surprises in the final invoice. We did our homework. We got 2 other proposals from well-established companies and 2 independent general contractors, in addition to H2H, before selecting H2H as the best value for the money. Their costs were more in line with our expectations and the owner, Tim Magee, was excellent to work with. He inspired great confidence that they could and would do this right and the project leads and crews delivered as promised!! Based on the stellar results, Heart to Home just started remodeling our primary bathroom!

Then she was fast to fit us into Benbow & Associates' busy fall schedule. Now that my partner and I have been living with the results a few months, I can enthusiastically attest to the fact that all the elements of this project are wonderfully crafted and look like they always were there. In other words, the cabinet, counter, and shelves, perfectly match the rest of our kitchen! Every step of the way, Diane and Sam were great to work with, kept us apprised of all developments, and, when there was a minor aesthetic issue that needed tending after installation, they were, again, fast to take care of it in an excellent way. All in all, a wonderful experience!

We hired Art the owner of Envizion, to recreate some very unique kitchen cabinets, an entertainment…read morecenter and two bathroom vanities that we found on Pinterest. None of the projects were easy or conventional. Art and his partner Mike understood exactly what we wanted and manifested it to pure perfection. The kitchen cabinets we wanted, involved finding authentic barn wood. I thought I was going to have to go on a wild goose chase to find the material, but Art researched the barn wood and found a place that sourced top quality barn wood. The cabinets came out better than what I could have ever imagined, and the quality is beyond top notch. The entertainment system involved a complicated sliding track to hide the TV when not in use. Everyone that comes and sees it is beyond amazed at how absolutely stunning and functional it is. We also had them build 2 walnut bathroom vanities. The quality of the wood was incredibly important. Art and Mike searched high and low for the perfect wood, and found it. Art and Mike are total perfectionists with an incredible eye for detail. They are laid back, and never get ruffled even when they are faced with difficult engineering problems. Their positivity and calming demeanor make them so relaxing and easy to deal with. Yet, at the same time, they are nothing but professional. We shopped around before choosing them and were amazed how competitively priced they are. I could go on and on about how truly outstanding their work is. Bottom line is, I would recommend them in a heart beat for any custom wood work. The result is truly a work of art (no pun intended).
