Ordered: house fried rice, veggie fried rice, sesame chicken, orange chicken, general tso fried tofu, and green beans. Their house fried rice was filled with bbq pork, shrimp, and chicken! Tofu dish was phenomenal and can't go wrong with a side of green beans. The people running this place are great and packed our takeout order neatly, didn't miss anything. Place gets packed around dinner time and can't wait to try more items in the future.

Menu has all the usual Moos Goos and Moo Shoes and Kow Pangs, etc. My Hot n' Sour Soup was great. Big-ass portions and drinks are strong and yummy. Drinks are cheap AF and taste awesome and they have American Classics like Jager Bombs and Slammers and Gin Martinis and Tokyo Blasters, etc. As anyone who knows Chinese American the Chow Mein Sammie was invented here in New Bedford/Fall River area. And they got 'em here so they are legit. All phood was scrump AF and this place is a blast to hang out in. Cheap prices and awesome cocktails of all types and great phood and huge portions are what Jade Garden is all about! Peep it out !!! HOT TIP: Chinese American phood pairs great with American Cocktails like Manhattans and Rusty Nails, etc. I usually warm up with a couple Tiki Drinks and then ease into the Rob Roys and Gin Martinis, etc., as the meal progresses. Give it a shot.

I enjoyed it last summer enough to go back, so back I went, this time for a weekday lunch…read more -- Chicken Wings: A little on the small side, with all of them crisp, half of them fully glazed and brown, and the other half lightly glazed and not so brown. Good old school flavor on all. Moist yes; juicy no. Right around average. -- General Tso's Chicken (on a combo): Big pile, big pieces, bumpy and very meaty. Lightly crispy. Sauce fairly light and not bringing much heat to contrast the subdued sweetness. But what an allotment of meat. Average or a bit above. -- Egg Foo Yong (on a combo: Two thick, golden patties flooded with a smooth, tasty brown sauce. Underneath, very dense in pork nuggetry and good tenderness and overall flavor. A pleasure. Near-elite. -- Boneless Spareribs (on a combo): An easy upgrade from the standard crab rangoon for $2.50, these were a respectable stash of flat mini slabs well painted with a dark mahogany glaze. Moist, flexible, and carried to the finish line by some extremely delicious flavor. Well above average to near-elite. If a little more juicy, possibly elite. -- Egg Roll (in a combo): Another upgrade from crab rangoon, totally worth the $1.50. Crisp outside, moist pork and crisp cabbage inside, with noticeable five spice flavor. A little above average. -- Pork Fried Rice (on the combos): A stellar mound of dark, moist grains, with flavor every bit as pronounced as the color. Big chunks of red pork, with bean sprouts and egg chiming in. No onion. Overall, a delicious reminder of the golden age of pork fried rice. Near-elite to elite. Good food, with some of it great, and good value. Excellent service from Wendy, a pro with skills and a great sense of humor. Also nice to see Morgan, the excellent server from my previous visit.

To preface this review, I am currently laying in bed after making myself throw up. It would be a…read moresin to even call what this place dishes out as food, "food" I ordered a combination plate and to my dismay it was entirely inedible and I ended up having to opt for some chicken and salad I had in the fridge a couple hours after making myself yak. Let's start with the beef. The beef they use for their dishes has not only an incredibly fishy taste from not cleaning their pans correctly, but it is obvious that they use retired dairy cows for their meat. It is incredibly tough and tastes the way an old deer does and just as gamey. It's the poorest cut you can possibly choose to use for any dish and is what McDonald's and other fast food resteraunts use for their ground beef patty's The fried rice is as bland as it is colored by dark soy sauce. You would think by using as much as they do to get that color that it would least have flavor right? Think again! The crab Rangoons are the classic New England plastic wrapper with no mention of crab or even imitation crab. They fried cream cheese and brought it to the cape to tell it a story about the ocean. Absolutely ridiculous. I could get better Rangoons at market basket of all places lmao. To end it all, it gave me a terrible stomach ache and I ended up having to make myself throw up in order to get this disgusting slop out of my system Only go to this place if you absolutely hate yourself and want to be disappointed As a fun fact, I only downloaded yelp in order to give this place the worst review I possibly could and prevent any folk from involuntarily injuring both their bodies and minds.
