I had to "fry" these "pan fried" dumplings. I also ordered a pu-pu platter. The beef and chicken teriyaki were minuscule. Crab Rangoon had barely any filling and didn't taste good anyway. Came into town with a friend craving Chinese food, and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Came into the restaurant and immediately felt welcomed, had a great chat with the nice lady in Chinese. We stayed to eat and rest and she'd come to check on us a few times, even gave me a free water :) When I visit New Bedford again I will take time to come not just for the food (which was great, had the mi fen, char siu lo mein, and sweet and sour shrimp), but also to say hi. read more

I believe I've found a new spot for takeout Chinese food. Being a fan of Asian food it's something that I could eat a great deal of if better places were around that made you feel like the money you're spending matched what you were receiving. The outside of this place had me scratching my head. Once inside it was very clean, 3 booths, and a couple of little tables with a flat screen tv. The kitchen is where the magic happens. I placed my order a combination plate with beef and mushrooms(swapping out pork fried rice for vegetable), it came with chicken fingers and boneless ribs. Shrimp egg foo young, and steamed dumplings. It took about 12 minutes or so to get the food. During that time the phone never and I mean never stopped ringing. There were takeout orders and delivery orders coming in. The food was given in the standard brown bag but had a plastic bag liner which I thought was good. When I arrived home and opened things up, I was more impressed that the chicken fingers weren't greasy and were placed in the wax bag like an egg roll that was seperate from the styrofoam container. Everything was flavorful and tasty. I will definitely be going back. The total bill came to $24.51 which wasn't bad at all for what I received. read more

I went to order tonight to try it out. My daughter asked for lo mein for dinner. We only live 2 miles from the restaurant but I didn't want to pack up my 3 year old and 6 month old in the rain to go pick it up so I ordered delivery. I ordered a large thing of pork lo mein and a pupu platter for 2 at 5:30 pm. They told me it would be delivered to my house in a half hour. At 6:30 I called to check on my order since I had not received it yet. I was told it was on the way. Five minutes later I got a phone call from the delivery guy saying "CHinese food outside". I look outside, no car. So I tell him he must be at the wrong house since he's not at mine. He hung up on me. This repeated twice more. I called the store to tell them he must be at the wrong place as he was calling me to say he was outside, but he wasn't. They said they would call him. he called 5 more times saying he was outside but would hang up on me when I would say he was at the wrong house, or asked where he was so I could help him get to my house. I finally called and cancelled my order at 7:30 pm. All the lady said was "Sorry, one of our delivery guys called out" and that was it. For a 2 hour wait where I never received my food, I at least expected them to say they would still deliver it for free or offer me a meal on another night. I will not be ordering again. read more

Went there about 12:30 pm had to order from counter no waiter when order came it came in styrofome takeout container got plastic utensils when asked for something to eat with.
