I had to have a tire replaced that was under a warranty. I ordered and it arrived the next day. I made an appt for 3pm for the tire to be replaced and balanced in addition I requested all the tires be checked for pressure. My car wasn't taken into the shop until 3:45pm. Then when it was done ~ 4:15pm, I asked the mechanic if he checked all the other tires. He said yes. When I drove off, the new tire had 37lbs and the other three were at 29lbs. read more

I came here for the first time for my inspection. Was given an appointment and in and out in a timely manner. All of the workers are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to help anyone who needs it. Today I called at 3:00pm after noticing I had a screw in my tire and this was the first place I'd ever go if I needed service in the area! They booked an appointment at 4:30 and I was out just after 5pm without a second thought. I am grateful for the staff and team members here providing great service to the neighborhood. The value and wholesomeness of the company shines through in every quote they do. They are very reasonably priced. As I walked in for my appointment today they were helping a woman get a rebate handled for her new tires. They will save you money any time they can. Over the course of owning three different new Hyundai Elantras, I've been an exclusive customer at Firestone, Hazleton for 15+ years. Today, I needed help with my new 2025 Hyundai Elantra; one tire had a slow leak. Firestone couldn't get me in for at least a week. A call to Mavis resulted in "bring it right over." Upon arrival, I explained what brought me there today, that I preferred to have my car serviced at a Hazleton facility as opposed to traveling to the Wilkes-Barre dealer where I purchased the vehicle, that I was looking for a local facility I could trust and who would recognize me as a knowledgeable vehicle owner who would be a repeat customer for all my Elantra's routine needs. My car was quickly on the rack, the problem was diagnosed and repaired within 15 minutes and I was out the door, with a courtesy "no charge," and a smile on my face. If this is representative of the way Mavis treats their patrons, they just earned my business. Two thumbs up!!! read more

i been a customer at jack williams for long time , on every tire purchase i always buy the tire protection package, in february 2024 i went to to jack williams in trexlertown pa ordered 4 tires, in march the tires arrived i had them installed and purchased the tire protection package , the store said jack williams the uniforms said jack williams the receipt says jack williams, this week i went to the jack williams on lehigh street in allentown pa to have my winter wheels put on, but now it says mavis tire , mavis merged or bought jack williams , and mavis is to honor the jack williams protection agreements, the service person wanted to charge me $88.00 dollars, i told him i had the protection package on all oh my tires summer and winter he called the manager, the manager said as a one time courtesy he won't charge me. i called mavis tire and they had a district manager named hugh call me, we had a discussion i was not satisfied, the next day i called mavis tire again and asked to speak to someone higher than hugh , they said i can't and i have to talk to hugh, today 12/16/24 , i was felling pissed i texted hugh my jack williams receipts , he called me and said he'll honor my winter tires receipt because that was a jack williams agreement, but my summer tires were a mavis purchase and they don't have tire protection agreements, nowhere does it show i purchased tires from a mavis tire store. i feel so f****d , i will never purchase tires from mavis in my life , why would anybody they don't offer any thing to help you, look around check with a store like kost tire, or anybody that offer a protection agreements read more

This place has nice enough service but each time I've been in, it has taken so so long. Went in for an oil change and they told me I had to change a tire as well. Ended up being there for 3 hours then they told me they didn't have the tire in stock so I had to go the next day. I went in and waited again for about 3 hours for them to change my one tire. read more

Not only are the people here honest and knowledgeable, but they are very good human beings who deserve your business. They went out of their way to help me, a motorist passing through the region in need of a specialty tire for my Suburban that was not available at the local dealership, or at their store. They called up and down the I-81corridor to find one available on my way back to Virginia. When none could be found (they are currently out of season), they GAVE me a used tire to put on the rim with the blown tire so I wouldn't be stranded on the roadside if another tire failed. They refused to accept payment. I watched them take care of customers. These are smart, knowledgeable professionals who give everyone a fair shake and genuinely care about their clientele. I had a significant flat 250 miles from home on a business trip. I went to Jack Williams who said three options: 1) they hoped fixable; 2) might need two tires (AWD Honda Crosstour); or 3) 4 tires if wear on older was further down than recommended. I told them in each trickle down decision to air on the side of caution due to long ride back. They provided quotes on 2) and 3) which were very reasonable. They said repairable, fixed it, and bc I was staying at a property they had a contract where it happened, NO CHARGE!!! I called this establishment from a few hours away when having low tire pressure messages showing this morning and getting nowhere with tire service and sales near me. Ironically I had an appointment at the Jack Williams in Mountain Top for an alignment but an hour before my appointment I was driving through Hazleton and my low tire light came on. I called this Jack Williams location to see if they could check out my tire and plug/ patch it if able. They got my car in quickly and patched and plugged the tire they even did the alignment too. I had a flat tire and I put my temporary tire. I go to Penn state University and I really need to travel with my car since I am not from Pennsylvania. I called this spot a total of six times, the first time they left me on hold and then hung up. The next time when I asked how much it was to buy a single tire they hung up on me. The next day the same scenarios happened four more times. I understand it can be frustrating having a customer call six times about the same thing, however, I am a student aspiring to be in the medical field.
