He took time to examine my gums and thoroughly explain to me what a gum graft was and why he recommended it, along with what I should expect during the procedure and the recovery. Maggie, his receptionist, also thoroughly explained to me what to expect and recommended a few things to make me more comfortable during the procedure (e.g. comfy clothes and a zip-up sweater so I don't get cold, etc.). The procedure went smoothly - Dr. Abelson and his assistant Maria did a great job and were very professional. They did a great job numbing the area so I didn't feel any pain while he was working. The whole procedure took about an hour, and I had a couple of follow up visits to make sure that it was healing properly. A great experience - would recommend!

I had called multiple places, but no one could accommodate me the same day. Most clinics only offered a consultation, and even after X-rays, I was told I'd have to wait a few days to see a surgeon. Meanwhile, my pain was getting worse by the hour. From the moment I called Valencia Aesthetic Dentistry, the experience was completely different. The front desk team was incredibly caring and understanding. They gave me a same-day appointment, and when I called again a few hours before my appointment saying the pain had become unbearable, they immediately asked me to come in earlier without any hesitation. When I arrived, I met Dr. Peyman, who evaluated my condition and explained that the wisdom tooth needed to be extracted due to the swollen gum covering it. Although the surgeon was only available after a couple of days, seeing the level of pain I was in, he took the initiative to perform the extraction himself. He reassured me that we could stop anytime if the pain was too much, which gave me a lot of confidence to proceed. What stood out the most was his expertise and care -- I didn't feel any pain during the entire procedure. It was smooth, professional, and honestly a huge relief after what I had been going through. After the procedure, not only did I feel immediate relief, but Dr. Peyman also personally followed up with me the next day to check on my recovery. That level of care is rare and truly appreciated. The day of my tooth extraction I was nervous and my anxiety was off the roof. But the lady that took me back first to sign the paper work was so friendly and helped me. But the tech that brought me back and got me ready was an angel. My anxiety was high and all I can do is talk and she was so kind to sit and talk with me. She gave me my aftercare and again answered all my questions. Once the surgeon started it honestly took less than 9 min to extract my tooth. The Dr also went over the after care. The only thigh I would have to say that I would have liked is that they made sure my ride was here and not just walk me out of the side door. I had to wait for my ride 20 min outside. I wish they would have asked if my ride was here and if not had me wait inside. Besides that the office is great! I will be returned for my implant soon.
