I seen this cool looking cooler that looked like a truck. I looked at the price tag and it was seven hundred dollars. This unique shop is not the cheapest and everything was very pricey, but everything is handmade by an artist because there are many artists in the Stowe, Vermont area. My mother ended up buying candles and couples of souvenirs. The store was a great experience to walk through and see a variety of art from different artists. The Current hosts exhibitions of contemporary art produced by well-known nationally and internationally recognized artists and local Vermont artists -- including elementary school children -- and various events showcasing the art and the artists. On our recent visit to The Current, we happened to visit in between signature exhibitions and the museum was displaying works proudly produced by children from local elementary and middle schools in its three galleries. The quality of the artwork fell somewhat short of our expectations -- given the professional artists' work prominently featured on the museum's website -- but my art viewing companion and I still enjoyed viewing this exhibit and supporting the community. We will return to The Current visit next time we are in Stowe. Admission to The Current is free, although donations are welcome. My fiancé contacted her to set up a surprise photoshoot and capture our proposal. He found her through Google and saw some photos of past shoots that were captivating and beautiful. She was very communicative throughout the booking process and gave great recommendations for picturesque spots in Stowe, VT as well as things to do/places to eat as we are not VT natives. They set up a plan for where he would get down on one knee and when she should pop out to take the photos. When he proposed and I said yes, it was the happiest I had ever been, and the photos she captured absolutely showed that! She seemed to make use glow and look so warm and happy, even though it was snowing!! She was an absolutely trooper, taking multiple photos while it snowed and the wind howled. She made us feel so comfortable and let us even have a moment to ourselves to take the moment in and hold each other (which she also captured!) At the end of the shoot she even checked to see if there were any photos we wanted to grab before saying our goodbyes, so if you have any pose in mind, she would definitely capture it! She told us it might be a few weeks before we saw any pictures but the next day she was able to give us a sneak peek at a couple and we were blown away! We had a great selection of images and a variety of options to choose from. I felt like I was in the moment all over again. Before the end of the week we received our pictures and we couldn't be happier! I couldn't wait to share with everyone just how beautiful they came out. From the start of our communications to the delivery of our gallery we couldn't be more pleased with her work! She is a very kind and talented photographer, and we have nothing but positive things to say!
