They do these inspections from morning to early afternoon (can't remember exact times, I'd recommend calling, and it's first come first serve). There were a few people ahead of me but their waiting area is very comfortable with large couches, a TV and coffee for customers. The service was speedy and the cost was very reasonable (under $10). I would definitely recommend Pueblo's and I think they might be one of the only auto shops in town that do this sort of inspection. Because of our great experience with them we would consider taking our vehicles to them for other maintenance as well.

However, there were no reviews for this location but I thought I'd give them a chance. The service here is really quick and easy. I dropped off my car and the employee said it should be done quick. I went to HEB real quick and the oil change was done (10-15 minutes later) right when I got back. I'm used to oil changes taking at least 2 hours so this was a nice surprise. They even wiped my car down for me! I never had an oil change go by so smoothly. There was a line with about 3 other cars in front of me but they were still able to get my car done so fast and still performed all the checks, along with wiping down my car. I dont recall the manager's name but he was a short man with tattoos, piercings and a felonious attitude. He was confrontational, threatening, abusive and tried his best to intimidate me. *The issue started on my first visit. They changed the oil on my car and it started leaking the same day. Once I came back there, they told me the drain plug was defective but it after my visit, it did stop leaking. That means one of two things: Either they forgot to tighten the drain plug the first time around or they damaged the drain plug and decided to say the plug had been damaged before the car came to Valvoline Express*. My meeting with the above manager happened the SECOND TIME, I returned to do an oil change and brought up the incident to the manager. He proceeded to explode at me and because of that, I decided to leave and not have the oil change done. One detail was I made sure to ask the store manager to add NOTES to their system the first time around when I returned to have them inspect why the leak was happening. Reason behind it was, I wanted to make sure the next technicians who touched the car would know to pay attention to the oil drain plug and to tighten it. The belligerent manager told me that there were no notes at all and thus, I was making up the story. I have to tell you that all the oil change techs were polite and professional. The issue I had was with that "one" manager. And if my review was sent to the Area Manager for further investigation shows me that you are interested in the reputation of your business, but the fact you are unaware of any altercations or incidents that would have caused me to post this, shows me you're either naive or you're pretending to be. Or worse yet, you are turning a blind-eye to your management behaving inappropriately with your customers. That is contradictory and I dont buy it. If you want to make good on this issue, publish the name of your belligerent manager on here with his working hours, so the public can be educated on when to avoid visiting your shop.

When I showed the tech where the screw was he said that the screw was in the side wall of the tire. When I challenged him on whether or not the screw was in the side wall he proceeded to explain Walmart policy which states that there is a 3 inch strip down the center of the tire that is not side wall and and every where else is considered side wall. He said this is for liability, we all know there true reason is that they just want you to have to buy a new tire. So out of greed Walmart stranded me with a fast leaking tire and there pathetic attempt to force me into buying a new tire from them has ensured that they will lose me as a customer for life. I will never again use their automotive services and unless the puncture in your flat tire has precisely hit the bull's eye that Walmart has drawn on you tire I suggest you go else where for help.
