After completion, we experienced serious water intrusion and leaks during rain. We contacted the company, and while some workers were sent to inspect and attempt repairs, the issues were not resolved. In 2025, a worker who inspected the project identified multiple construction and safety concerns with the structure. A repair was scheduled but never started, and communication from the company eventually stopped. We later learned through the City of Santa Clarita Building & Safety Department that the project permit had been canceled. We have filed complaints with the CSLB, and the matter is currently ongoing. We are sharing this so others can make informed decisions and recommend doing thorough research before hiring.

She was patient and professional with us and walked us through the entire process and helped us pick out fixtures and details that turned out perfect. Once we signed the contract they jumped into action, they immediately scheduled us the following Monday and were in constant communication as what each days work would entail and they never missed a work day from start to finish. They were always professional and friendly. If we need something done again we will not hesitate to use the Lenton Company!

We OVERpaid for a project because Sarah sold us on the length of time in business and lied stating they don't use outside contractors. We had a kitchen demo/remodel. First week was great. Communication was wonderful. Week 2, went downhill fast. No communication. Drywaller showed up hours late. Difficult when I had to keep dogs locked in a bedroom. Got drywall all over my floors and hallway walls. Next day showed up 1 hour, again late and no communication. 3rd day the painter. Week 3 (which we were verbally promised 3, no more than 3-1/2 weeks by Sarah) I noticed that the countertops on the blueprints I happened to see left out, were NOT what we wanted. No one EVER went over designs or confirmed anything with us the entire time. Due to medical reasons, we asked for rounded edges and they were bringing in squared edges. We're able to correct that. However, the quartz was NOT grey/white as Sarah stated. Which I brought up at the time of signing, that sample had NO grey or white to which she claimed to have seen the slab and assured us it was indeed grey/white. Now counters installed. NOT what we asked for. Do not match cabinets at all. Then came the backsplash. Informed days before countertops were laid, that our choice was not available. Sent over 3 samples to select from (no countertop to match it with other than the grey/white in my mind we had supposedly ordered. Now, backsplash is too dark. When we told them it doesn't match, they continued the project, completing it with existing backsplash AFTER I asked them to complete the job as completion date grew closer. To finish, they installed the sink, you can clearly see wood through the sink! The bay window does not drain and water rolls down into the caulking. Then the owner decides to leave town on completion, NEVER coming out to address any of the issues. They accepted final payment but refused to sign a letter stating I accepted my contractual responsibility, but I do NOT accept this job as being performed satisfactory. The first night it was completed, we ran the dishwasher, which flooded our kitchen. Again, reaching out, they blamed us for a faulty dishwasher. They sent in a private plumber (as we refused to allow the original back for faulty work) who pulled out building materials from the drains of the dishwasher. Their fault again! They cashed the final payment, and refused to respond to me. The project is nothing like the photo we were shown. We got wrong countertops, wrong backsplash, cabinet doors, day 1, chipping paint and one won't close at all. They charged us for drawers/cabinets and due to mismeasuring, gave us cheap space-filler cabinets to which Sarah glorified them, calling the "cookie sheet cabinets". We are now approaching week 3 of completion and still nothing from the owner. In one photo you see the grey/white choices we were NOT given but told the piece on the far left (beige/cream) was grey/white. They've taken no accountability at all. At our expense, we will need to have another company come in and demo everything to have it done correctly. I've recently filed a complaint on their contractors license, and will filing a complaint on their business license as well as a complaint with the better business bureau. It is also looking like we will be going to court as weeks are passing and no resolution has been made. This project was just shy of $40,000. Now I have a dark, unmatched kitchen that looks hideous with less space than I started with and chipped cabinets, crooked counters, and unsymmetrical recessed lights. AND, they didn't even put in the light switch on the end of the kitchen. Everyday we are discovering more and more faulty work, so it's beyond just cosmetic. This companies lies, cheats and steals your money to get you to sign. Not 1 day in the past month and a half has ANYONE come in along the way or for final inspection, to even address our concerns. Please don't fall for their lies! If I can save one other person their life savings, wasting my time posting this will be worth it! Please note, ALL 5 star reviews are a long time ago! Mine is current! This company is not what they claim to once be.
