I would give 0 stars if I could. I do not expect much from fast food, but I do expect the food served to not have visible mold on it. Not only is there mold on the crown of the bun of my overpriced cheeseburger, but it clearly smells like mold. I went there on 3/25/2024 at around 5-5:30pm we went through the drive through we order and told the lady that we had a coupon for the three digit coupon number every time we would give it to her she kept on repeating the wrong number. So she asked us to pull to the window. I tell this is no joke the lady was on her cellphone the whole time we repeated the number to her two more time until she just to give her the coupon. We gave it to her ( mine you she is talking to some one on the cellphone the whole time) trying to take are order. She never once took that phone from her ear. We order buy one get one for a dollar spice chicken sandwich we asked to please put one with cheese. we decided.to eat in the parking lot . We got are sandwich and not one had cheese on it. So I walked in the store and told her that there was no cheese on the sandwich she tried to tell me it was on the other one . I told her know it wasn't and that I would like to have cheese on my sandwich that I paid for mine you to whole time I go back into the store this lady is still on her cell phone. So she takes the sandwich tossed it in the trash and told the other lady there that she needs a spicy chicken sandwich with cheese. The lady on the phone goes out side for I don't know what. I asked the other lady that if I talk to the manager person that was in charge. I asked her that if that was the orders she asked me to call corporate office that was out on the window. There was no number out there. Horribly dirty. I called the health inspector it was so bad. Toilets were soiled and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in several days. Grease on the floor in the main lobby, soda machine was leaking water and there was a pool of water. Every.single.table was visbly dirty. We asked her to please clean one and she never did-they weren't even busy! At all!! Took 25 min to get our small food order. Which all tasted off. I did a online purchase and it stated just show the server at the driveway the App purchase of mini churros and medium soda. I couldn't get assistances from the lady that was helping me out. I let her know that I just ordered some churros and some soda and she said they don't have any of the churros. I asked if I can talk to the Manager, then she there wasn't a manager at the time I was there 6:50 am on 10/26/18. I trying asking her if there a way to refund or give me something else she said she can't do that nor can't refund my money. After all said, she close the window on me and turned around and walked away. So I just want to say about the service at this location is by far the WORST STORES of all Jack In the Box I've been at so far. I hope the owner sees how bad the service is at this location. Showed up at 01:25am on a Thursday night after getting off of work late with my friend. We were hungry. Employee informed us at the drive thru that he was the only employee and if we could "keep the order light". We were the only car there. We asked if he could do 2 meals and he said no only 1. I thought it was a joke but then realized he was serious. So I said ok bye and left. I specifically asked several times if all the ingredients such as CORN, I said, and beans and so forth were IN the SOUTHWEST salad they said they found in the back when I arrived and asked if they had a SOUTHWEST salad already made for me to buy. The young man seemed to waffle, took my payment without giving me a receipt, finally came back giving me a bad and incorrect salad and when I asked for my receipt I had to wait over a minute to get it and was suspicious so AGAIN asked if the salad had corn and EVERYTHING in it that a SOUTHWEST salad has in it, and he said YES so I STUPIDLY trusted him! It had much less chicken in it than normal and MUCH more iceberg lettuce, SLIMY cucumber slices and soft aged cherry tomatoes, when I started to eat it soon after arriving home, not at ALL was it a SOUTHWEST salad that I paid $10.25 to eat! They won't answer ANY phones at Jack In The Box where I've called two numbers many times DURING business hours so far. HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE!!! Went through the drive through, ordered a sourdough chicken club sandwich with no lettuce and tomatoes. It was completely DRY with no sauce at all, and had LETTUCE on in. Are they going to use the buns that are on the floor? When ordering the bacon cheddar potato wedges I asked for sour cream. Right after I ordered them they said "We are out of Sour Cream" and just after they said that walked away because I finished my order, if they would have told me that in the beginning then i would have ordered something else. Not only that I saw a package of buns on the floor, are they going to use them? Are they going to throw them away? They should just throw them away to not look like a disgusted fast food restaurant. The Tacoma Mall Blvd store is horrible they mess up a simple order even when they are not busy, and if they don't mess up the order they are rude or provide bad customer service.(or both) After a few bad experiences we stopped going here. it's been 3 years so we decided to give them another shot and were disappointed again they burnt the crap out of both the burger buns, didn't put ketchup in the bag, and the employee Destiny was not friendly. On my way home from work to get ready for a few lined up appointments, I stopped and ordered 4 meals from Jack in the box; chicken nuggets for my toddler , 2 small patty melt combo meals for my husband and self and one small 3 taco combo meal for our teenager. After leaving the drive thru and getting home to eat with our teenage while we waited for her father and sister to get home so we could leave for our appointments. My teenager realized they completely forgot the 3 taco meal that I was charged for. I Grabbed the bag of food, hopped in the car, went back inside the store, told the employee at the register about my missing items. I requested the order be redone since we all know that fast food has a shelf life of about 5 minutes especially the fries plus the fact I had been already inconvenienced to have to drive back to correct my order and the food they had given me was cold by now. The women at the register walked away with my old order and I hear some women in the back complaining loudly how she, " was not going to redo the order." Then the voice I heard complaining appears at the register with the lady who I originally ordered from and asked me, "why do want me to re-cook everything, is there something wrong with the food?" After I I explained to her the freshness and shelf life, Shamyra the shift lead (also cook) tells me she will give me the missing tacos but will not redo my order. After all this, I didn't want to deal with everything and just asked for a refund. Shamyra worked with the register, asked me how I paid when I mentioned I paid by card she told me she could not refund me unless I had my card on me, I had the receipt and pointed out the lady who took my order and said she could verify that I am the person who purchased the food and I explained to her that I had to rush back to the store without the card because my order was incorrect and expected they would be gracious in correcting the order plus expecting them to incentivizes me for my troubles by redoing the meal since I returned the incomplete order. She said she couldn't provide me with a refund without the card even though they could visibly identify it was me who ordered it and I gave them the food back. I asked for a cash refund and she said she couldn't provide one, so I asked for the manager. She said they didn't have a manager on staff but that she was the shift lead. This was the third time she inconvenienced me that day. I went back home without my food or a refund to do my previous obligations which I was late for since the Jack in the box hold up and after I drove back home to grab my card and when I returned, it appeared the manager was there in the parking lot speaking (smoking and talking) to Shamyra and the woman who took my order. That manager took off very shortly after they spotted me and I parked my vehicle. I went back in and asked Shamyra for the district manager's number and she provided me a directory on the entrance door, then I requested a refund which I though she did but she did not supply me with a refund receipt and she said it would take up to two days. The happened 05/23/19 and today is 05/28/19, I still have not seen my refund hit my account. This service was poor and rude. They knew they had done my original order incorrectly but refused to incentivize me by redoing my order so I could have a fresh, hot meal to return home with like I would have with my original order had they completed it correctly the first time. The shift leads need to feel empowered by telling me no she would not redo my order then adding the next insult by not refunding me and making me return for the 3rd time. This was terrible and the staff needs better customer service standards and training. If you are not there to stand by your service and guarantee the foods quality you shouldn't be working there, you are selling a product and your job is to exceed expectations. This was a terrible experience and I will pass that along to anyone I can that lives in this area. read more

I came to Jack in the Box tonight to get dinner for my mother and myself. Upon arrival I discovered that all but one door had been locked and made me walk all around the building just to get inside. This isn't a huge inconvenience but still irritating. When I walked in, we waited for 5-10 minutes behind a clearly stoned group that took way too long to order. Again, not Jack in the Box's fault but it was still annoying. Then finally it was our turn to order, the cashier didn't even look at me as he was fiddling with the register then walked away! I thought he must be really busy, so I waited for him to come back. But he never did. I stood there waiting for nearly 15 minutes and the entire time the work crew actively chose to ignore me because they clearly saw me waiting there. I thought about calling out to get their attention a few times as I was getting restless just standing there without anyone even bothering to ask if I had been helped yet, but again I figured they must be really busy in the drive through. But I was annoyed because they were putting the drive through as priority over me, when I had been waiting much longer than anyone else. Finally, someone talks to me and tries to hand me a burger. I tell them it's not mine, and that I haven't even ordered yet. She tells me "Oh I thought you were with them" the only other people in the building were an Asian family who were already sitting together and eating. It's like she assumed I was with them because I myself am Asian. Which I don't understand! I clearly came in way after this family, and I had been standing alone for over 15 minutes! Why would I do that?! Flat out racism if you ask me. She didn't even apologize for making me wait, or offer to compensate for it either. On top of that she almost forgot half my order, and they were all out of the sauce I wanted. And the food is bland and too oily. If I could rate this -5 stars I would!
