I've been going to this jack in the box for ten years now and I don't have very many good things to say about their staff until the last couple of times. So tonite I asked the young man his name and proceeded to tell him he is the nicest person I've ever come across at this location. He thanked me and said that is the first time anyone has said that to him and then he reached out and shook my hand. The gesture was so kind & sincere . Any company with a customer service dept would be lucky to have him. Great job Nathan!!! read more

i walked into this place and saw 1 person at the cook fry area and not even be flipping time did the individual say can i help you, order from the kiosk or nothing so a person walked right in front of me and checked in and i said oh that's what they do. i said oh so no one comes up to help anymore it's all computerized now? she said i guess. i said ok well im just gonna wait and the dumb broad took her time. sorry but i was standing there for approx 10 mins. i was hungry and that didn't help me at all. so i just walked out and said no one knows how to work anymore read more

I mean? I asked for it plain with just meat and I get nothing. This was my first time at this location and now I see why it only has 1.5 stars. Food is expensive and when you get this it's hard to want to go out. read more

Jack in the Box - Two Tacos - Fast Food Near Me - Sumner, Washington

I went through the drive through at 827 Valley Ave Sumner WA 98390 at 5:56pm on 12/18/25.  Phone number 253-863-1698.  I get to the window..and she hands me the food and walks away.  I have to wait for her to come back to ask her for the sauce I want.  She hands me one and I say "can I have more than one please" .. she says that sauce doesn't come with your meal.  She insisted I had to have the sauce I didn't want that she threw in the bag that "comes with what I ordered".  I said I'll even pay for extra sauce if that's the problem or give her back the sauce flavors I didn't want that she assumed when she threw in the bag.  She refused.  She then proceeded to call me fat and was the rudest person I've ever encountered at a fast food restaurant.  Server: Claudia D.  She insisted I couldn't have the sauce I wanted..only the ones she said are assigned to the meal and refused to compromise or even attempt to solve the issue. Calling me names and being rude ..this girl should not be working fast food let alone at a window.  I am literally furious.  I can't even believe that this is just the attitude I got for asking for sauce. Is this the kind of service Jack in the Box stands behind?  I honestly think she should be written up. read more

They cannot get the simplest of orders done correctly. Tacos, no sauce and extra lettuce. Instead I get dripping sauce and hardly any lettuce. Go figure. read more

Clowns... the service is absolutely pathetic... Constant bad service, over and over again read more

Who orders takos and burgers at the same restaurant? F you jack. Servers were very rude as well

Service gets three stars. Now, when did Jack In the Box decide their food was worth more than Chick Fil-A? Today I regretfully paid $14.00 for a sourdough Jack combo. Gone are the days of getting a 7 or 8$ combo from Jack In The Box. All of the combos at this restaurant are north of $14.00. Cool, so that's a harsh toke. So, how's the food? Meh. Typical Jack. Burger is ok, large fries were not filled all the way. Sorry, but I won't be back especially with McDonalds right across the street, who always has a value menu worth a damn. $5.69 for a Jumbo Jack is insane. read more

Horrendously slow service, rude at the window and very inconsiderate of the customer. Also very overpriced for what you get. Will not be going back to this location. read more

The food quality has improved here. However, the sauce nazi cost this owner a $32 sales tonight, by refusing me service.

place sucks i got two milk shakes didn't get them or anybody telling me that there machine is broke so I order again then BOOM then they tell me like they couldn't the first time I wasted money on it and it was FUCKING 18 dollars gotta love that read more

So much better than the McDonald's across the street. The employees are easier to converse with and pay more attention to your order.

It's been a while since I've been to a JITB. Now I know why. My order: Two basic Jumbo Jack Burgers without cheese One Variety Snack Box (Moz sticks/O-rings/Fries) My order TOTAL!: $15.69 ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME! I paid $4.99 each for a single Jumbo Jack burger and a "special" price for the "Variety" pack. What a rip-off! I hope this place goes bankrupt. I wish for the very best, nothing more/nothing less. But Jack In The Box has issues that go way beyond profits. Good luck JITB owner in Sumner! You are gouging locals! God luck with that business model. read more

Terrible payed 30$ for them to give me just fries and a taco. A true tragedy never so scammed in my life.

So we really aren't fast food people but our Son (12) wanted to try Jack in the box for namesake reason so we decided to stop at the Sumner Jack in the box. Let me tell you this, the service was nothing less than spectacular. I have never been to a fast food place and been treated so nicely. The people there were friendly and kind as well as generous. I've had a business for 18 years and the supervisor there ( I believe he was the supervisor) would be an asset to any team. He was an exemplary example for the company and the fellow staff. I cannot say more. He not only made us feel special ( when does that ever happen with fast food?) but he also went out of his way to be kind to our chatty 5 year old as well. All I can say is kudos to whoever hired this guy! If I was back in business after having children I'd find a way to steal him away!!! read more

If I I could I'd give no stars this is what my bf ordered supposed to be a grilled cheeseburger munchie meal and this is the burger they give him.... I don't even have to say it. This is unacceptable especially with the price read more

Jack in the Box - Grilled cheeseburger - Fast Food Near Me - Sumner, Washington

Manager of the restaurant had to shut the place down for 15 minutes because they were unable to operate the store because all of the minor children working there needed to take a break at the same time. Literally, I was halfway into my order when the manager cut in and told me that they weren't accepting any more orders, and I had to back out of the drive-up and go somewhere else. read more

The 2 young ladies working the drive thru today around 6:30pm today we the most immature, rude people ever!! Horrible service, they shouldn't even have a job with how they treated us! We ended up in an argument with them and all they did was laugh like it was a joke! Even told us to call corporate..either way they'll have a job ..regardless on what we said or do! Sad! I wouldn't want people to represent my company like those two people! They should both be fired if you ask me!!! Won't be returning to any jack in the box ever! It was just supposed to be something quick for the kids! There's was nothing quick about it, and we didn't even get to order!!! HORRIBLE LOCATION AND HORRIBLE SERVICE read more

Terrible service. The younger lady at the window seemed aggressive and like she hated her life. She didn't put the lid for my drink on all the way, and it spilt all over my lap when she handed it to me... don't recommend going here even for late 1am munchies read more

Place easily the most dirty and disgusting restaurant in the area. Was there during daytime and even with two cars in the parking lot nobody would answer speaker or show themselves. Nobody works here during the day? Place is nasty gross outside, everything is dirty and trash all over this parking lot. Our recommendation is gas station food over this place. read more

Can't give a zero or I would. No matter the time of day, they are unable to serve their entire menu. No ice cream at midnight, no hash browns at breakfast... At least the 24-hour drive thru was open tonight - super unusual on a Friday... Wait times are always ridiculous. DON'T EVEN BOTHER! read more

I haven't had bad service or waited too long. The food is as expected for fast food. The employees can take more pride in their job though and act more adult. I get it, I worked fast food as a teen but you can still do the best at what you do to succeed. Nothing bad to say except work for the job in the future not the job today. read more

The listing says they are open 24/7 as does their website. I just tried to drive thru at 12midnight. There were cones in the drive thru making it look like they were closed. I can't tell you how many times I have gone here just to find an orange cone blocking off the drive thru. Tonight, there was no Oran come but I drove through the window twice and got no response. The last time I drove through I saw someone smoking from a pipe in the kitchen. I called the police and will never be back. read more

Regretted going here for lunch. Almost noon and you'd expect fresh or at least recently cooked foods. Had a number 6 with curly fries. Sad to say the burger tasted like it's been sitting in a hot case since 10. And the curly fries are damn terrible. It tasted like it was from last night's shift soaked in an old oil. Way too bitter and lost all it's flavors. I've been to many jack in the box locations. But this is by far is worst. I'm really disappointed. Now, I'm still hungry and 15 bucks poorer. Do better please. read more

The worst Jack in the Box experience ever. I ordered food for 4 people. To include 4 fries, 2 of which were Curley fries. We pulled off and stopped to check the bags, come to find out they had forgotten 1 curley fry. They were busy, I was nice enough to pull away to check my bags, then had to get back in line behind 4 cars and wait. I let them know my bags were missing a Curley fry, they said ok pull on up. When I pull up they ask to see my receipt, hand them the receipt. Then she looks at me like I'm trying to pull a fast one and says she's going to do me a favor by giving me a large fry this time but next time it won't happen because it's not reflected on the receipt! Like I'm a liar. I did drop the f bomb, I was highly offended. I said look again! It said 2 Curley fries, only one was in the bag! Why would I wait through a long line for nothing? Waste of my time, and other food getting cold and all. Then she was offended that I said a curse word. All over a fry. Like give the missing fry, apologize for the mistake and let me go on my way. Is how it should be done. To top this off the chicken strips were disgusting! Wouldn't feed them to my dogs! Drenched in grease and looked deformed. Jack in the box, the chain, needs to find a new distributor for their chicken strips, in my opinion. I won't be back to this location for sure and prob take a long break from the chain, period. read more

Today about 3:30 pm I went thru the drive thru in Sumner, Washington, with my daughter and son and law. I ordered two biscuits and sausage plane with nothing on it. I got two with cheese on them. I tried to return the sandwiches to the girl to get the right ones but she said to keep them and they would make two more. Then another woman came to the window and demanded I leave her window because I had gotten what I ordered!!! I pulled around to take the sandwiches back in and was first ignored for sometime until I said "Excuse me, I would like my money back for these" The same woman came over and under her breath but very audible to me said "stupid bitch" I asked again for my money back. she finally tossed it on the counter after yelling like she was on something for several minutes in front of other customers. I asked for the manager and she yelled she was the manager. She yelled at me to get out of her store or she would throw the sandwiches at me. I left got in my car and she ran out of the store cussing loudly at me to get out of the car. I was completely frightened!!!! read more

Got burgers and fries there for our grandkids and the burgers were barely warm and quite well done around the edges. Very small patties. Look like they are about 5 per pound. Fries were crispy, but luke warm and tastes bitter. All around, definitely not worth the price. Not a good experience. Will not go there again. read more

If I could give this place a negative I would. Every time we come here and go through the drive though they ALWAYS mess up on our food. I always order a Jumbp Jack with NO cheese and a double cheeseburger plain. Every time we get our food I check it before I leave the drive through window and every time there is cheese on the jumbo jack and the double cheeseburger is not plain today when I said something the girl at the window asked me why it matters. Really??? I asked her to have them fix the burgers and she said why. I just don't understand why the customer service is so bad. My advice is to stay away from this location and just drive up the hill to Bonney Lake. read more

This place is a rip off. First of all the lady was insanely rude, and was putting stuff on our order that we did not say. And then when we got to the window we handed our card to her and she never gave it back! We ask for certain sauces like hot sauce for the tacos I got, and 2 sweet and sour sauce. And she didn't give us any. So I would say we are never going back here and they deserve the rating of zero. And for everyone reading this I would suggest you be careful or never go here either! read more

So rude I went in half an hour before closing time to use the bathroom and the lady rushed us out the door and used rude language to us I am never going again if I was buying food and your treated me like that you don't deserve my money or my time read more

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. We waited behind ONE car for 20 minutes. Finally got to the window and the girl didn't even greet us, didn't apologize for the wait, didn't offer any compensation for the delay, nothing. She also got our order completely wrong and we had to walk her through everything we ordered. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had from any fast food place or restaurant. If I could give negative 10 stars I would. Customer service is trash, common sense and respect is non-existent. I understand the staff is young and it's probably their first job, but management is really slipping with training them properly and running the restaurant as a whole. It's really amazing how horribly this place operating. I can't even fathom it. read more
