I personally watched the cook drop a burger on the floor and then place it on the back counter instead of throwing it away--despite a garbage can being right next to her. That alone completely destroyed any trust I had in this location's food safety and cleanliness. If that's what happens in plain sight, I don't want to imagine what happens when customers aren't watching. Terrible experience and I knew it ahead of time but I was in a pinch for time. The drive thru line took forever and I had to repeat myself 3 times to the order taker since they were not paying attention. I get to the windows and paid. They did not give me ketchup after asking. I should have totally looked at the bag as I normally do but was given an entirely different order. Maybe I got food of the persons behind me and they received mine. Who knows. First off, seems like I always have issues with this location, have to repeat my order numerous times, out of drinks or large sized drinks or out of food items. Given that, today wasn't bad, still had to repeat my order but only a few times and they had everything I ordered. My issue though was my Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger I received. When I got home and opened it, what was inside was very short on Ultimate!!!! The double jumbo Jack I got last week was bigger than this embarrassing thing they're serving up as an Ultimate Cheeseburger!!! Drive thru took about 20 minutes with 4-5 cars ahead of me. Food was hot and fresh and thankfully I wasn't in a rush.

The service at this Jack in the box is earful. They cannot handle the amount of customers they get. They are fully staffed but it took them ten minutes before a person even took my order . Just got my food. Came home and my order was wrong. I ordered curly fries, I ended up getting regular fries not only that but they were cold! Okay this Jack in the box is my coworkers and my place to eat on Sundays. The several times I ate here, I never came across of any problems or being dirty. We order and talk about life, until the food comes. Sunday is my cheat day, so I go hard or go home, when I eat here. I'll get the two tacos for .99 cents the .99 cent chicken sandwich or just buy a meal. I really do like thier fries and curly fries. I get a little creative sometimes and put my curly fries and ranch and taco sauce in my Tacos. It's on hit, their buttermilk ranch sauce is very good. I love dipping my fries in them. This location is sub standard, I give it 5 negative stars. I pulled in the drive through at 5:45 am and the lights were on. Nobody answered the speaker and I saw someone taking a delivery in the back. I asked why nobody is taking my order, he said we don't open until 6:30. I asked why the sign said drive through open, he said what sign, I said the flashing neon sign in the front window right next to the sign that says open every day 24 hours. He said he didn't know. (10/29/16) Check your receipts!! Something shady is going on at this location! I went in the drive thru and placed an order for 2 Chicken Brunchfast sandwiches (2 @ $4.79 each before coupon), 2 orders of tacos (2 @ $1.19 each), and 1 large curly fry ($2.79). I used the 2 for $6 coupon on the Brunchfast sandwiches and I was still charged $17.40 total. Let's do some math folks... 2(4.79)+2(1.19)+2.79= $14.75*1.09=$16.08 w/o my coupon. So how is it I was charged $17.40??? My actual charge with coupon should have been $12.18. So I was overcharged by $5.22. I had to inform the lady that the coupon only removed $1.81 when it should have removed $3.58 to make the total for both sandwiches $6. She then tried to correct it and was about to hand me $2 and change. I informed her I was overcharged by more than $5. I said I'd go inside to discuss it but she said they're closed inside and that she'll get a manager. She didn't get a manager. She came back and handed me $5. I felt like telling her I was still short what they owed me but I wasn't going to waste more time for $0.22. I won't return to this location bc when you're overcharged on your regular non-discounted total and on top of that the proper amount isn't being removed when using a coupon, there is something shady going on! This place is so annoying. All they care about is their drive thru customers. Anyone else walks in should be prepared to wait 10 minutes to be acknowledged at the front counter. I walked in, ordered a medium fry and a peach ice tea. Took them 6 minutes to take my order and another 5 to start making the tea. At that moment, I wish I were a mystery shopper! I've seen the managers drive back and fourth a thousand times in the drive thru window to increase their customer count and speed. Later found out this was because the quicker they get people in and out the higher the chances of everyone getting a bonus so employees and managers run their car back and fourth to trick the system. (So corrupt!) I actually recorded this just for the heck of it, so i'm not making this up! In the interest of full disclosure, I have to start by saying, I'm a long-time fan of Jack in the Box. When I was going to school, Jacks tacos were the best thing ever. Jack's seasoned curly fries were the first seasoned fries I ever tasted (I think they were the first to carry such a thing), and their shakes made with real fat were heavenly. Sure, Jack in the Box lost direction for a short time there, but when the clown came back, so did I, frequently! So here we are in 2012 and I have to watch what I eat, just like the food cops always told us. So, I am picky now, unlike just 25 years ago when I ate anything that was served in a box or wrapped in waxed paper. Some of my guilty pleasures still include Jack's seasoned curly fries and Jack's Jalapeno poppers. But, I would never admit it in front of a medical professional. Today, was out and about with my wife and she was hungry, so we stopped at Jack in the Box on Pacific and Porter for some "breakfast served all day". You just gotta love a place that does that! I haven't eaten in at this location is probably 10 years or more, always did drive through. Wow... Ummm... Guess I had better just describe what happened. First thing I notice is the restaurant is pretty dirty inside. I went to the men's room to wash up. There were literally 2 large holes in the floor near the commode with what appeared to be liquid sewage visible in them. There must have been a toilet over them at one time that was removed or something, but now, just two holes in the floor where they once stood. I have never seen that in my life in an American restaurant. Mexico, sure. USA, no. Anyway, I washed my hands and headed back to the counter where my wife was ordering. However, it was taking forever because an old man named "Harvey" was up there chatting her up. OK, my wife is hot, and he's probably lonely, but seriously? He was so disruptive, she was unable to order. The lady at the counter told him, "Now Harvey, you have to stop talking to the customers, remember? Or you'll have to leave." He just went right on anyway asking her when she graduated from school, what her favorite color is, whatever. Apparently, from what I am told, this gentleman comes there frequently to just hang out by the register and talk to people as they order. Really? Being nice is one thing, but to make it your daily routine? The term "get a life" was created just for Harvey. Anyway, we get the drink portion of the meal and go sit down. The dining room is empty except for one other gentleman sitting at a large table by himself, who starts reading the paper out loud, and I mean LOUD. Then he asks us what we thought about what he just read, but interrupts to yell at us what he thinks. Then he goes on to tell (yell) about he's homeless, politicians can't be trusted, etc. He goes on and on. We took the food to go. That place is just way too much. None of these chatty old men had food or drink near them, they just hang out there to interact with people as they try to enjoy a meal. It's so incredibly annoying! Especially the language and volume. And they may wonder why they are not busy at this location? I may know why. Ummm.. SECURITY!! Maybe creating a welcoming environment for paying customers would be a start. The food gets 4 stars. The restaurant gets -1. We actually did not feel safe there at all. And, apparently, this is an everyday mode of operation for this location. Better off getting your Jack fix at the March lane location! read more

I only gave 1 star because there was no lower option. This location is the worse I love jacks options and am in a skilled nursing facility and have no choice. The first time I ordered it was all wrong. So I said I'll try again I asked for easy sauce on my tacos both had none they could have at least sent a pack of taco sauce so I can put the little amount I like then both burgers I ordered had no cheese also asked for extra pickles one burger had 1 the other had 2. This particular Jack in the Box has a quality assurance problem with the drive-thru. Specifically, if you order a small soda, the lid will continually pop off and spill soda all over the place. Everyone inside seemed in a frenzy and disorganized, I could hear them from my car. This place is cheap - from the service to the food they serve and even their restroom is terrible. I've ordered burgers having to find out later after driving home that they don't include mayo or sauce unless you tell them you want it there. A burger always have sauce in it - it's standard common knowledge. If there is a literal interpretation of what a Jack-in-the-box is, this joint takes the cake.
