I visited Jack in the Box in Stockton, CA [1916 E March Ln] on Saturday, 2/1/25, around 2 AM. I decided to get tacos. They were prepared well. The wait time in the drive-thru line was decent. It took about 20 minutes for this visit. The customer service was fine. This Jack in the Box location is pretty standard. About the worst/ghetto jack in the box I've ever been to. Never had an experience when coming here where the workers never give you an attitude. Surprisingly it's always the older ones. Every time i order something, it's almost always over cooked to the point where it's hard, dry, and tasteless. Sometimes they just toss it together like a mess, like they don't even try. And some of these people expect to be paid higher wages in the fast food industry when they can't even fry fries without over cooking them. Their only saving grace that they're open 24/7. ZERO STARS SHOULD BE AN OPTION!!!!!! This establishment allows their employees to STEAL and charge customer's credit cards for their own meals meals. My husband went through the drive through today and was not given his card back after it was charged. When he went to look for it we checked the bank while he went looking for it in the car. The bank showed that there were two separate charges for today and my husband only used his card once. When I asked did he remembered if they returned it, he did not, so he went back. When he got there, they made him walk from the front over to the drive thru window where the cars are to talk to someone. The person at the window looked and found his card, but told him he could not do the refund and he would have to call corp. Then the manager stepped in and said she could do the refund. And that was it. My problem is I dont know if my husband's card was copied or not, but that is unauthorized and it is theft, so you can best believe We will be filing a formal complaint and someone better have an answer how they will deal with this issue. I'M DONE WITH THIS PLACE!!! This is one of the worst locations to order at. The service is so slow, the fries are usually stale and barely warm among other reasons (missing condiments, etc.). I don't think I've ever had a really satisfying meal from here. And just recently, while I was waiting patiently (what else can you do?) for my order at the drive thru, as I finally received my order and got home to eat, to my dismay and utter frustration, I bit into my Jumbo Jack burger and found to my shocking disbelief the absence of the burger patty itself. Bring a book to read or watch YouTube while you wait in this drive thru line. Got here about 11:30 pm and had about 5 cars ahead of me in the drive thru line. Didn't end up getting my food until 12:49. The kid that's taking the drive thru orders has no clue what he's doing. The food is cold by the time you get it, once again cause the kid working the drive thru takes forever to take your order and also doesn't know how to make change fast enough. Upon trying to order food, everything we wanted or requested we were informed "we can't make that" or "there's an error with the button we are pushing for that, so we have to wait till Monday for the manager to fix it" upon frustration I asked, "well what can we order" Tracy then grew an attitude and said "sorry you can order from a place that doesn't clean their grill" I ignored it at first and continued to order food that was being cooked. After completing the order Tracy again mentioned "Okay thank you, next time go to a place that doesn't clean their grill" I asked for her name and here we are with a review.
