This used t be a good place to eat. But I notice the last time I ate there they were out of nearly everything and it only 3:00 pm. I should have turned around and left when i walked in the door. Staff members were arguing with each other. When one came to the register to get my order. She stared at me with that "You need to hurry up so I can take another break" look. Then no matter wat I ask for.,I got "we're out of that''. I may go back one day , But no time soon. read more

Wow, what a gaggle of imbeciles working here. Always "missing everything" aka being lazy and also either ignorant or lazy to the fact they can cancel orders. They mislead DoorDash drivers and half do everything inside to the point where I got a chicken sandwich and they didn't have any chicken, so their bright idea was to just give us the sandwich without anything in it instead of offering a substitute or a refund, claiming there's nothing they can do about it. Come here if you're looking for a bad time! read more

We have been here a few times before but..... This visit was not that good at all! Service is slow because they do not have many people working, they are hiring if anyone is looking for a job. My Mom always enjoyed the tacos but they were really hard around the edges and real soft (grease logged in center, they were not fresh!) There was not much inside which also made them not too good.( They don't even have Sour Cream!) The fries were cold, the only reason for the 2 stars is because the jalapeno poppers weren't bad, served with Ranch. ( They don't have blue cheese, I would have enjoyed even more) Went and ordered 2 more tacos and said soft , I got 2 more hard. The girl said ,oh I'm sorry we don't have soft!! Why would she not say anything before charging for 2 more hard ones!!! Needless to say because it wasn't good we agreed we would go to TB if we wanted tacos. And they have soft ones too & sour cream! Shame places don't care who they hire anymore and if the quality is the way it should be. read more

We purchased the famous Cluck Chicken Sandwich, the Loaded Mini Tacos, their Signature Cheeseburgers and Curly fries and Everything was Amazing!! Please locate a restaurant near you because you won't be disappointed!! We arrived late so we weren't able to go inside but the customer service was great and welcoming. Well I would like to start by saying I have been going to the jack for many years and had all kinds of good and bad experiences. This is the straw that broke the camels back so to speak We were over charged when we realized it we asked the cashier to correct it she then closed the window on us and disappeared then can only assume the manager but she didn't say anything when I said thank you she didn't even acknowledge our presence then opens the window hands us our food and I asked for a receipt she then closes the window and says o my God how do I get there f@#$n receipt and then gives us purpose old receipt I say thank you ( again ) and was awnserd by OK ( this is not the kind of person that needs to be in management my children did not need to hear that I will think again before my children well join me for pick up ) read more

A spontaneous dinner date led us to this fantastic restaurant. The creative dishes were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The attentive staff made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful evening. read more

I will always eat their fried tacos. I have for many years. Their onion rings are great too. Some of the franchises I've been to need new management. They didn't have sourdough bread in Shelby and the one in Hendersonville was not busy and no one responded at drive through. read more

Its 2am nice young lady taking my order they have a 99.9 score which is great other fast food joints have less. Restaurant looks clean and food was hot and tasty read more

Love the taste of the burgers and one of my favorite places for a fast food burger. BUT, staff is just so non responsive. Didn't even get a hello, can I help you? My double bacon cheeseburger was tasty but the wife's chicken sandwich was perfect except for the main ingredient. The piece of chicken was a sliver of nothingness. As for cleanliness, the floor in front of counter was sticky like a soda was spilled and only soaked up with a dry mop. Bathroom was clean but waste basket was overflowing. read more

Jack in the Box - Fast Food Near Me - Shelby, North Carolina

The food is always pretty good here, but the service here is always an adventure. When we ordered using the app this weekend and pulled up to the window, they kept asking us if we were Door Dash. Then when they did seem to understand that our order was an individual person's, they couldn't figure out what we had. We pretty much got what we ordered, but the staff was still super confused. This location obviously needs much better training. And the Jack in the Box app is clearly not seamless like some other places' apps we use. read more

Good food and good service. Would recommend. One of my favorite fast-food places. And very friendly

Food was great service was ok cleanliness needs work please decide for yourself. It's just a fast food chain. All are hit or miss

WOW! Usually the people who are working here are nice. NOT TODAY! Bitch at the drive thru window seemed to be in a hurry. WHY? Lady needs to work in a Funeral Home with dead people if she doesn't like live people. And what's up with my order of Jalapeño Poppers? I only ordered three, SHIT! Not to mention they forgot the 2 Tacos my daughter ordered, had to go back to get them. Just WOW. read more

Jack in the Box - A hollow Jack N The Box Jalapeño Popper - Fast Food Near Me - Shelby, North Carolina

I haven't been to Jack in the Box in at least 4 years so I decided to eat lunch here with my daughter on Saturday. She really seemed to like it as this was her first time and the amount of options impressed her (she is 4, so the pictures of Jack on the wall were also kind of a big deal). The food was good for fast food and I've always kind of liked their tacos. The place was queen and the service was fast and friendly despite the restaurant being rather busy. I was a little disappointed that the Freestyle drink machine seemed to be missing multiple options and thus the drinks the restaurant was proudly advertising (some Jack in the Box special soda and the Strawberry Dr. Pepper) were unavailable. Overall, if you're looking for chain fast food with quite a few options I'm sure Jack in the Box is as good (if not better) than other options. read more

I can't believe the bad reviews this place has. The store manager is great and the food is always fresh, fries are off the chain. Best fast food chain in Shelby. read more

Horrible service and food. Last time I was here was 9 months ago and I really enjoyed it. Today was my first time back and I ordered the Bacon ultimate cheeseburger and all I got was a sloppy mess. The burger was so greasy the bun was sliding off. The condiments was put on so sloppy and just everywhere. I also ordered another burger and had to drive back because they forgot it (not mad over that though). Overall I will not be back! read more

Jack in the Box - Bacon ultimate cheeseburger - Fast Food Near Me - Shelby, North Carolina

Highly disappointed in this location. I ordered food online through the mobile app only to arrive and they were closed due to "parking lot maintenance". I've made multiple attempts to call and speak to someone and the number listed for this location is out of service. I've also reached out to Customer Service, STILL NOTHING. I really just want my $17 back and to know when the restaurant is actually open. read more

Extremely slowly service. Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru, wouldn't have been so bad if my food came out hot and fresh. It did not. I got cold soggy fries and luke warm burgers and tacos. And my bacon cheddar wedges were half filled. Go somewhere else, don't waste your time. read more

Jack in the Box - I didn't get a full order of bacon cheddar wedges. - Fast Food Near Me - Shelby, North Carolina

Anytime I come here the service is so slow and the employees have bad attitudes. The food is pretty good. Management needs to work on getting better and faster service. Employees need to have a happier attitude. read more

Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes- trapped- because no one would take the persons order 2 cars in front of us. We finally we able to escape the line and drove to The Cookout. By the time we got our food and drove back by the Jack in the Box the car that was in front of us was still at the window waiting for their order. I wrote a complaint into Corporate because this is not the first time this has happened. If you go in the later hours this has been my experience with the service. I appreciate the owner of the franchise reaching out to me but offering me to be taken care of the next time I come in just isn't worth my time anymore. I can't get time back and am not wanting to chance losing anymore of my life waiting in the drive thru at this particular JIB location. read more

I went there a few weeks ago on a week night around 7:45 p.m. The place was empty except for one car in the drive thru. I sat behind this car for over 15 minutes. I could hear a person in the restaurant chatting with the people in the car so they weren't sitting there waiting to place an order. When I finally got to the window I was given my drink and then had to wait about 10 minutes longer for my food. While I was waiting for the food an employee at the window asked me if I needed anything else. I told him I was waiting for the food I'd already paid for! He was very rude and my food, when I finally got it, was cold. Normally I wouldn't wait this long in a drive thru line but another car had pulled in behind me and I couldn't leave. I did contact corporate management and they seemed very concerned about this problem so hopefully it will improve. The food and service at this location used to be excellent. Hopefully some changes in the management at this store will be made before it closes down. read more

The food was really pretty good. But...we were the only customers in line. One woman was busy fixing orders of people sitting at their table. The drive-thru girl slowly shuffled around like she was SO bored. No one was in drive-thru. The working woman asked her to take our order (after we had stood there for quite awhile). This seemed to not please drive-thru girl at all. She sighed, leaned up against the register and never said a word. She acted like she was pouting and just glared at us like she despised us being there. It was very uncomfortable and just as I was about to tell her to forget about it, someone else came up and took our order. Hopefully the management will put drive-thru girl out of her misery and get rid of her, because she's obviously miserable and doesn't want to be there. And she will most likely lose clients with that attitude, she almost got rid of us. read more

I normally love Jack in the Box, however this location was a complete disappointment. I ordered an ultimate cheeseburger, the condiments where slipped on the old burger patty that had the consistency of rubber. My husband ordered the mushroom burger, surprisingly it did not have mushrooms. At least the fries were fresh. The staff had poor attitudes. read more

I like this location for the staff. Everyone is soooo nice, especially to little kids (like mine). The ladies at the drive thru are always in such a good mood (as opposed to most McDonalds). My kids love their mini pancakes and shakes. I like their tacos but haven't ventured much into their menu. Apparently they are a big deal on the West Coast. read more

Really, no stars. Worst Ultimate cheeseburger from a JITB ever. Not worth eating. Burger was most likely cooked hours prior to serving. First and last time I ever go there again. Not worth my time or money. You suck! read more

Literally 30 minutes from pulling into the drive thru to get my single burrito, during lunch rush but only two cars in the drive thru. Lady on the speaker said just a minute and waited ten minutes for any reply. Will not be returning to this location ever since I expect fast food to be at least fast. Also they upcharged 60 cents for the free curly free with any combo change, I'd say losing my business may help their service but if three customers overwhelms your lunch shift I doubt it helps. read more

This location was understaffed having only one person for the drive-thru and one person for the dining room who are taking orders and cooking food at the same time both handling money without washing her hands and to borrow a line from the 1980s where is the beef I was completely disappointed with the portion size and the service that I received read more

This place is great. It's reasonably priced. The service is always fast. The food is good for the price also. The staff and cashiers are friendly. I've only been here twice but I wish I came here more. I actually had never been to one until I moved to shelby, nc. I wish I had one back in Raleigh nc. read more

It's a shame zero stars isn't an option. Waited at counter for at least ten minutes to place order. Could hear someone in the back moving around. Drivethru went off. Someone finally helped them but never came up front. We left. As we were getting in our truck, another customer came out saying he had the same experience and after they finally came and took his order, he waited twenty minutes on A BURGER AND DRINK! He said the only other customer said the same thing. No wonder the parking lot was empty. Sad when you can't even rate the food because it never got that far. Not a problem though as we're currently enjoying a much better meal and actually being taken care of next door at Applebee's. read more

was in the drive thru for over 30 minutes with only three cars in front of us. they really need to work on getting food out to drive thru faster or at least have the common sense to pull cars up that are waiting on certain foods/bigger orders so the cars behind it can get their food! read more

Went through the drive thru. Customer service was excellent but my sourdough jack was cold when I pulled over in the parking lot to eat it. I'm usually impressed with the quality of food at this location but they dropped the ball tonight. read more

I have been frequenting JIB for the last 8 years, had the worst experience ever there today. Ever since the new "management" took over recently, the service is terrible and the food has gone downhill. Now, they feel the need to charge for a "courtesy" cup of WATER! Calling BS on Jack, I won't be back! Believe me when I say I will tell all I know! I would have posted no stars if I could have! Didn't eat there today, left without ordering. Pffffffft! read more
