I finally tried Jack in the Box for real and went with the Family Meal Deal through the drive-thru. It was a bit of a weird experience, to be honest. After I ordered, they told me to park and wait for them to bring it out. It ended up taking quite a long time, so I just walked inside to grab it myself. I should've just ordered inside from the start since it seemed way faster. The place itself felt kind of isolated and dead, but the staff was helpful. They were generous with the sauces, which I appreciated. As for the food itself, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The chicken sandwich was decent. The regular fries were just standard fries but had a nice little bit of seasoning on them already. I also had the curly fries a few years ago and remember them being pretty solid. The burgers and tacos were a letdown, though. The Jumbo Jack was honestly quite small for being called "Jumbo," and the filling was super basic--just a couple pieces of lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. Burger King's Whopper and chicken sandwich are way better and tastier in my opinion. The tacos were also a total miss for me. They tasted a bit weird and fake, and I'm honestly not sure what kind of meat or filling they even use. I go in, politely ask to use the restroom. The main lady with the mole on the back of her neck tells me to push on the door. I reply that it wasn't unlocked yet. She buzzes me in. Soon after, I ext to find that the POS touch screen isn't accepting any credit card payments at all. I pay at the register. After receiving my food, I request a refill, the only refill for this visit, from that same lady. She claims the coffee is prepping and will be ready in 29 seconds. I wait. About a minute later, I request it again. She mumbles something and takes the canister of coffee over to the drive-thru area. I speak up, repeating my request at a volume she definitely heard. She continuously ignores me and focuses on serving the drive thru customers. I ask when I might be able to get that refill. She stonewalls me, remaining silent. Although the service is a little bit slow because they are understaffed, they employees always make customer service a top priority. They always accommodate for reasonable mistakes, and they are very kind with how they treat customers. The food is always great and I look forward to coming even if it requires a small wait. Stopped in at Jack in the Box because it was convenient and I was here already. Outside grounds were clean and maintained. Loved the white roses outside and how they lined the walkway with them. Dining area was small and needed some attention. The wall art was cool and modern. Restrooms REALLY needed lots of attention. It made me wonder how clean is the kitchen area. Just a thought to ponder on, hmmmm. Ordered the #29 sourdough breakfast sandwich. Would have preferred the bread crispy and my bacon definitely crispy. I felt it was made in a hurry and therefore it was lacking that golden brown crislyness (is it even a word) to it, just my opinion. Employees were welcoming and hard working. I absolutely love Jack in the box but unfortunately each time I've eaten here my food (some items) is served cold :( I've given it multiple tries over the last few years , I stopped going here and then tried it again this past year and sadly the same thing--some items in my order are warm but others very cold(as if it had been sitting for a long while). One morning I was really shocked because it was not busy, I was the only customer that early morning and really thought the food was gonna come out hot -- still half my order was cold :( (cold tacos) I mean there was nobody else to tend to--not even in the drive-through. At first, I thought it was an "in restaurant" issue so I tried the drive-through, then I tried the mobile app, then I even tried coming to the counter and ordering right there hoping each time they would freshly make my food. It's hit or miss there, so disappointed :( I have hesitated to do a negative review in-fact, this is the first negative review I've ever done ....and I do feel bad doing it, but I have to be honest! I've worked in the fast food industry before and this isn't what service looks like. Went thru the drive thru and made my order repeating it twice and still my order came wrong. I requested certain sauce to be placed into my burger and still came to me dry since none were present. My fries were stale and tasted as if they were refried. There was no going back since I was on the road driving. Since employees are getting paid better and prices at these restaurants have gone up, the public deserves better service and not subpar service. read more

This place just keeps getting worse. I do enjoy a jumbo Jack now and then. But the service at the drive-through is terrible. Today I ordered a jumbo jack with extra onion. I got a jumbo jack with no onion. I could taste that they had been there so they clearly had it made and then removed the onion. Burger was cold, fries were limp. Ask for a Diet Coke got a regular Coke. I have to say they did give me a whole lot of lettuce. I sat at the drive-through window for about three minutes and finally had to say hello to get someone to take my order. And then she was unfriendly. I dropped in sort of last minute and was glad to see that the place had a really comfortable feel like somewhere you could relax without feeling rushed and the team working there were just genuine and helpful in a way that made you feel like they actually enjoy what they do and that kind of energy matters cause it sets the whole tone and once the food came out I could tell someone back there knows how to put together a meal that tastes real like made from scratch and not just tossed together for speed and the flavors were really smooth not too heavy but still satisfying and the presentation was simple but clean and thoughtful which I liked and overall everything from the start to finish just worked well and while it wasn't some big fancy thing it was better than I expected and the fact that the people were so nice just added to it and made me want to tell others to check it out cause good food and good people is a pretty solid combo. read more

If I could give 0 starts I will, I bought in October 17,2023 a plain chicken sandwich in the morning and the chicken Patty was a JOKE! It was extremely refried like from a day before, it look literally like a oatmeal cookie dark brown and super stiff like a piece of cardboard, I attached pictures, I called and ask for the manager and I was Told nobody will be there until "maybe" tomorrow Wednesday so I explained to the lady what happened and she told me that the reason was because that they didn't allowed them to change the oils where they fried the food and that it was already old!!! This review is for the lady working the drive thru at 4:30am Friday morning 4/19: I came through around 4:30 am after a long night shift. To my surprise, there were two cars in front of me and two behind. There was only one lady working who was both taking orders and cooking the food. When I go to the window, despite that it was 4:30 am and pretty busy, she was so sweet! She greeted me with a smile on her face and when I left she said "have a beautiful morning". It was such a pleasant surprise to not only have a such a nice experience with a fast food worker but also to have that experience after a long night of working. It definitely made my day. i only go here when i'm down bad, as in i am severely rushing to get back on my lunch break but need a snack or it's super super late at night and they are conveniently open after midnight. well today was the former lol. i was gonna go to in n out but the line was ridiculously long so i came here cause the line was short. the woman who took my order was a very sweet older woman. she was polite and quick and prepared my order immediately. i ordered curly fries and tried the new chicken cheddar biscuit. my recommendation? get the fries but DONT get the chicken cheddar biscuit (i truly only did it out of curiosity and regret it). the biscuit is damp and sad, the chicken was like the epitome of an exaggeration of fast food looking like fake food. the rave for chicken sandwiches is high right now but this is a trend that jack in the box must sit out. other than that? fast service, good fries, and nice employees. try at your own will! read more

I had to repeat my order twice and checked it when I received it, just to find that my hamburger with two tacos was missing. I always go to this Jack in the Box late nite at the drive thru and I never experience anything bad till tonight , as I was going through the drive thru I ordered my usual food and when I was placing my order at the intercom the person taking my order was just rude and I felt like I'm being rushed when their was no line at all, it was not busy at the drive thru in other words. so I proceeded to the next window to make the payment and get my order but before I got my order their was a different guy taking my payment not the guy that took my order so I asked the guy that took my payment that I wanted siracha sauce on the side and I said I would pay for it he then said that's fine I got it... so then he left the window another guy came the one that was taking my order because I recognized his voice, gave me my food I then ask where was the siracha sauce he then just ignored me and left, then came back gave it to me but I said I still wanted a different sauce for my other meal because I ordered 2 different meals on the menu. He then grab the sauce with his rude attitude called me a sir out of nowhere when he clearly sees me that I do not look like a sir I got offended because I am a transgender and I look 100 percent female and this guy knows that I'm a transgender, I feel very insulted and this is discrimination. Why do I have to get disrespected and discriminated just because I wanted extra condiments or extra sauce and willing to pay for it. Very unprofessional staff at this Jack in the box. I then went around to go inside the restaurant to speak to a manager but nobody wanted to acknowledge me or even to give me an explanation of why that employee have to call me a sir , the guy went to the back room and hid himself from his guilt. Another standing in lot talking to him/herself. Inside store was dirty. Floor sticky. No one at counter. Took several minutes for my order to be taken. Tacos exceptionally greasy and tasteless.
