Me and my friends went through to this Jack in the Box on July 4th after the fireworks. There was a line out to the road that moved decently fast! The employees deserve a raise, they worked their butts off while understaffed to serve us with the upmost honesty and respect. Lady working 7am 9/20/22 very rude. I ordered one sandwich she charged me for three. I told her I'll take the extra ones this time but I wanted to let you know I only wanted one. Worst hamburger ever !!! I ordered the triple bonus Jack......the patties we're so overcooked I could not eat it. It was like they cooked the hamburger 2 hours earlier and then left them on the side of the grill for another hour to stay warm. When it was served to me they were barely warm, not even warm enough to melt the cheese. I can't believe the employees there would serve a burger like that.....the patties we're hard and crispy. Seriously, the hamburger patties we're hard and crispy....... It will be a very long time before I try any Jack in the Box again.....if ever. Man didn't bring us our water but didn't forget either brought us our waters with Flash speed and insisted we didn't leave until we had our waters (we didn't want the waters). This place is a typical Jack in the Box in most ways, but they seem to get a lot of little things wrong. Examples: Ordering screen. Why do they never use it? It's nice to see your order on the screen in the middle of the menu in the drive-through, but at this Jack in the Box the screen is always blank (broken?). That means you have to rely on them to repeat the order to know if they got it right. That's usually not a problem but since we are often ordering lunch for several people, sometimes these "larger" lunch orders seem to confuse them. Bags. More than any other fast-food place, this Jack in the Box always seems to try to cram everything into one single bag - even large orders. We're talking where the food is stacked in the open paper bag all the way to the top, where you can't close the bag. The bags are also top heavy to the point where it's nearly impossible to keep it from falling over and spilling in the car - better hope you have a passenger to hold the bag on the ride home... Order accuracy. Many times we have found them to have missed an item from our order. We always check our order before we leave now, which is hard to do since they usually cram everything in one bag, so you have to juggle half of the order in your hand just to see what is at the bottom of the bag. Often they don't give you a receipt, then act snooty when you tell them that they made a mistake on the order, but don't have your receipt to "prove" it. Waiting outside... Because we often order lunch for several people, we tend to have larger orders. Often they ask us to go and wait out front, which is understandable. Problem is, every single time they ask us to go out front, they instantly forget about us. At best, we become their lowest priority, at worst, they literally forget about us. I've gone in after waiting a stupid long time only to find out that no one was even working on our order anymore. Only good things about this place is that when they do get the order right, the food is generally cooked correctly and tastes good. They usually give plenty of sauce when asked. Absolutely worst Jack in the Box I've been to. Waited almost 30 minutes for my order which consisted of 2 tacos, a bacon potato cheddar wedge, fries and 2 drinks. Received my $3.00 + change in quarters. Manager outside smoking and talking with a group of people in the parking lot. People in street clothes going behind counter and grabbing cups. I emailed Corporate about this and received an apologetic phone call stating how embarrassed they are about my visit and thanking me several times for bringing this to their attention. OK I've been wanting to complain about this specific Jack in the Box for a long long time now. First off let me say I dont live in Lake County...I'd probably kill myself if I did. However I used to travel up there for work about 2-3 times a week. Unfortunately I could never take a lunch break and if I did I needed to get something very quickly. When you think about Jack in the Box you think it would be fast right? Get in, get out, get back to work. Hahaha! You're silly. This restaurant has the slowest service and food preparation. It's not like they are under staffed. Every time I've been there, there are at least 5 people working away back there. Maybe these people are the most inefficient people ever...who knows. Many times I have walked up to the counter and have waited several minutes before one of the employees even notices me. Once they do they take my order with no smiles, and hand me a receipt. Usual wait time for food is at the very least 8 min...fast food my ass. Aside from the slowness the restaurant is very dirty. Floors, tables, and booths are all filthy and look like they are rarely cleaned if ever. Bathrooms are in a worse state. Very poor customer service. We ordered 2 meals and substituted chicken on one, they charged for the chicken and didnt put it on. We understood its prom night, so we go back and knock on the front door since there is a very long drive thru line. Their employee looks at me and laughs and goes back into the kitchen, I call and it rings and rings and they hang up. I keep knocking and three employees lean over the counter and look at me and ignore me. My husband comes over from the car and he knocks and their employee laughs, gives him a thumbs up and ignores him. Now my husband is mad, so he goes to the drive thru window and he very patiently and politely asks why they are being rude and that he only wanted his sandwich fixed but now wants a refund. They direct him to the front and the manager sends her drivethru cashier out (who is the only polite person here) and he apologizes and gives us a refund. Never coming here again.
