This used to be my go to location for when traveling in Gonzales but it appears that it has gone down hill. I arrived in the drive thru, I heard something through the intercom but it must have been an automatic message because no one ever responded after me saying hello a few times. I drove around I didn't see anyone in the drive thru windows. I saw someone sitting in the store, it appeared to be a worker. I probably should have left then but I tried to go inside the lobby, doors were locked at 5:30pm. Hours on the door said 6:00am-10pm. I'm honestly glad I did not end up getting any service because I can't imagine a location being kept like this, serving edible food. read more

Workers refused to take order after signaling me to wait and never returned. Worst experience ever.

Waited for 20 minutes to order. Once we got to order the lady kept cutting us off saying "hold on" or "one second" and would be gone for 2-5minutes a time. We would have to restart the order each time. Finally we left, mad and hungry with no food. Huge disappointment! read more

After being on the road for some time I stopped at this location and splash and what are my face. I figured while here might as well get myself a milkshake. I ended up getting the strawberry milkshake which was actually good. Clean restaurant, good service and a pretty good milkshake. read more

Well came here after beta convention had 3 choices chick fil a,jack in the box, and McDonald's souses like let's try this place since I came here before the first time here was great but this time I felt I got an attitude like the cashier was in a real grumpy mood which makes me mad. I also went into the restroom and the first thing was that it was really slippery the floor was disgusting and and wet and it was only the afternoon almost 1 which mean it opened for only a couple hours which really made me mad. The fries may not be seasoned the best but it was crispy and still good the burger is very dried but the flavor wasn't bad. read more

This is a typical fast food joint. Two number one combos are $13.00 and the food is in line with other chain burger restaurants. This place has the most bizarre fast food offerings...seems like this drive thru would be the one to hit on your way home from a night out. Why? Because it's probably the only place in Gonzales where you can order a chicken fajita pita, egg rolls, a cheeseburger with three different kinds of cheeses and an Oreo shake. I feel like Whataburger and Dairy Queen had a franchise baby and Jack in the Box was born. I dined here around 2:30 PM on a Saturday and it was rather empty; even the drive thru traffic was slow. The service isn't anything special. Workers seem irritated and make no effort to be friendly. The time it took for our order to be placed and process was incredibly slow for fast food. I'm not a fast food person but we were in a hurry and this place has some nostalgia to it. Welp, as they say "the thrill is gone". Other than the fact that they serve breakfast a day, there's nothing exciting about this place. It was clean and the food was forgettable. I remember thinking that the hamburger wasn't very exciting. I love this place. Cheap tacos, great churros, and fairly quick quick service if you're not ordering anything crazily modified. I've been through the drive through and inside the store to order and both times were fairly fast. Came here and the lady at the window was super sweet. You can't typically go wrong at Jack in the Box. The food was great, especially the curly fries. The service on the other hand was sub-par. Some guy (because he didn't wear a name tag, I didn't get his name), who also wasn't wearing anything resembling a Jack in the Box uniform, took my order and didn't say anything to me the entire time he was taking my order. Placed cups on the counter and walked away without handing me the receipt, then was yelling at other workers from the door about not doing speed and how he wasn't going to "take his shit anymore." I have driven off from this location numerous times. This place is a waste of space if it can't cut being off a busy highway! It takes forever to place your order, the shake machine is always "broken" and the place just seems dysfunctional to say the least. This is the first time I stop there. Ordered a #2, which is a Swiss cheese and bacon burger, best I eaten in a long time, fresh, Juicy, and the wait wasn't that bad. I have a problem eating dry food of any type, but I had to put a towel on my lap to catch the grease. This is my type of burger and most definitely will stop again. read more

Always great service and delicious food. It's become a comfort pick of mine here. I used to go every Saturday for breakfast but the people I went with went away. The manager is always pleasant as well as the staff. They have better breakfast food than a lot of the local restaurants. I suggest getting the sausage breakfast burrito :). read more

Not a huge fan of fast food but this is open 24/7 and right next to my apartment and my job. I think the service is some of the best in the fast food industry honestly. Not a huge fan of the burger sauce(mayo??) but the eggrolls are amazing and spicy chicken is yum. read more
