She was even able to provide me with contacts for certain items I was looking for and couldn't find. She stopped by prior to the event for a walk through to see the location and ensure set up logistics and anything I hadn't thought about. Day of Angela and her Husband and the Califass Street Taquiza Team arrived early and quickly set up and transformed the catering area into a beautiful buffet. Her Staff was super friendly and professional. I received numerous compliments from my guests not only for the great tasting tacos, food, and aqua frescas but for how beautiful their set up was. I was actually able to sit down and enjoy my event confidently knowing that everything was taken care of. By the end of my event Angela felt more like a Family Member whom I've known for years. Overall, I'd still recommend this spot for their tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and especially the Birria de Reyes, but I would probably skip the pozole.

I've even been using AI to help me find healthier restaurant options, which is how I came across Tacos America. It recommended the restaurant because they grill their chicken, so we were excited to try it. When we arrived, we saw them grilling meat outside and thought, "Perfect! This is exactly what we're looking for." Since the tacos are topped with vegetables, we felt like this would be a great, healthier option. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. While we were waiting, the people ahead of us ordered tripe. The tripe was being heated on the Blackstone in lard, and you could see it sizzling in the lard. After they removed the tripe and served it, it was time to prepare our tacos. They put our grilled chicken on that same surface with the same lard that had just been used for the tripe. I'm not someone who likes to complain, so I didn't say anything at the time. Looking back, I wish I had. I understand that they need to heat the meat before serving it, but if you are advertising grilled chicken as an option, customers should be able to expect that chicken to remain a healthier choice. At the very least, customers should be told if their food is going to be heated in lard and given the opportunity to say no. For someone like me, the entire reason for ordering chicken instead of fatty meats is to avoid exactly that. If I wanted my chicken cooked in lard, I could have ordered something else. It was especially frustrating because we specifically chose this restaurant believing we were making a healthier choice. As for the tacos themselves, they were good. Unfortunately, I ended up taking the chicken out of the tacos and only ate about 1/3 of it because I didn't feel comfortable eating all of it after seeing it heated in lard. I hated wasting the food, but I'm trying to take my diet seriously for my health. I really hope Tacos America considers this. If you offer grilled chicken as a healthier option, please don't put it on a surface covered in lard without telling the customer. There may be people ordering chicken for medical or dietary reasons who cannot eat lard or added fats. A simple question or warning would have made a huge difference. The tacos were good, but unfortunately, the way the chicken was handled completely defeated the reason we chose them in the first place.

I've gone here about fifteen times and always special order a chicken sandwich to be cooked fresh and tell them I don't mind waiting. The lukewarm patties in the warming ovens are way worse than a hot, fresh cooked one. The person taking my order, often the manager, always tells me "They are fresh, we just cooked them". About seventy percent of the time they are lukewarm and NOT cooked fresh. I went there today and the same thing happened. There was also a woman that was waiting twenty minutes for her order and wanted a new one. The woman manager was arguing with her telling her that it's fresh. I'm sick and tired of the BS especially from the lying manager. Totally unexceptional treating customers like that. This place sucks big time -stay away! read more

Horrible customer service Juan Martinez is the Manager who has no skills. They employees speak no English and are very rude. They were all hiding in the back I think I smelled meth because they had the air conditioner on full blast. A long line line formed still no one came to the counter. I had to shout HELLO! They said the Manager is gone so now I understand the freedom to smoke meth. We asked the other group of customers to also call in because they didn't speak Spanish so they didn't order. I'm calling ICE and the corporate office they need to be drug tested and taught English. read more

Mixed feelings about this place. They are good with speed but not very accurate when it comes to take orders. I ordered the ultimate burger and found that they doubled up my order. The food is just ok but the portions are way too small. They keep making them smaller instead of raising prices in this economy. I prefer in-n-out or Carl's junior. I guess you could try this place once if you like eating. There is enough parking all the time too. read more
