They are very consistent with the food at least in my case, they rarely mess up my order and the food always tastes good. The service is decent it's the same as any other fast food joint. I bought a chocolate milkshake today it was the worst "chocolate" milkshake I ever had. You can't even call it chocolate. They filled the cup with vanilla ice cream with a tiny squirt of chocolate syrup. Put it in the so-called mixing machine which didn't mix it. It was vanilla ice cream with a streak of chocolate syrup through the middle. I asked the girl at the counter this is chocolate it looks like vanilla. She said I put it in the mixing machine and she walked away. I had to stir the chocolate syrup myself with a straw and even after that it still look like vanilla. We've been here a few times as a family. Not once has our order been correct on the first try. Not one. Also, the woman they have in the drive thru does not speak English well and she mumbles into the speaker, making it very, very difficult to hear her. The food is decent quality and usually prepared quickly, even if what we usually get is incorrect has to be fixed. read more

So I've given up on McDonald's ever getting my order right, so today I stopped at Jack in the Box to give them a try. I ordered a Bacon Swiss "artisan" combo, a Jumbo Jack combo, and a kid's meal. They nailed the kid's meal, as well as the Jumbo Jack meal. I got home, sat down, ready to dive into my bacon riddled sandwich... Imagine my surprise when I popped open my box and what do my eyes see? What I can only presume was another Jumbo Jack slathered in ketchup and mayonnaise. Upon noticing the veins on my forehead popping out, my daughter asked "are you OK dad?", to which I replied "no honey, dad's not OK because he just paid almost $10 for this meal and I got instead what looks like a $7 meal, and is anything but what I actually ordered". I honestly wonder if there's something in the HVAC system in the Forest Grove fast food restaurants that causes blindness, or mild cases of dyslexia where none of them can read what's on the screen? My meal came to $7.98, I handed over a twenty and got $2.02 in change. When I explained I was due a $10 bill I was told I'd been given one. I insisted and was told no. I asked for a complaint form and the gal tore of a piece of register tape and handed it to me. I refused and suggested they learn to count back change and they would not encounter these problems. I order and find out out I can't use the soft drink machine as it was out of order. So you get to wait in line for a refill also from the drive through machine. I have a love/hate relationship with JITB. Some places do a great job, but others are hideous. This location does a very good job preparing the orders, and I love the fact that I can get breakfast items all day. Unfortunately the staff at this location is hit or miss. If you go through the drive threw be prepared for a 20 MINUTE wait. The cashier will not answer your questions at the window just ask for the amount for the food. More than likely your food will be already cold as it was just given to you. If your inside just watch the staff as they make transaction at the register and then go touch YOUR FODD without even washing their hands. This place clearly doesn't care. The place is basically unheated in the winter (apparently at the orders of the owner). The sauce dispensers are unfilled. The soda machine is out of order. Their shake machine was down for months. I board my horses in the FG area, so my family is always out this way. I have been to this store twice in the last month, and my husband went once. Both times, I went the bathrooms were so nasty I was afraid to wash my hands, before eating. The wait times have gotten ridiculous. The last time I was there, my daughter wanted tacos, and we went through the drive-in. They were so greasy, and ugly she tried to feed them to the dogs, they were not interested. The children and I were at the beach a 2 weekends ago, and my husband was out with the horses. He stopped and grabbed dinner here. My husband got sick (puking, upset stomach, other issues), he was sick for 2 days, and went to the dr, who told him it was food poisoning. No one else in the family got it, and the only difference in what we had all eaten was he ate here and we ate at the Beach for dinner. This store used to be an ok store, but in the last 6 months, it has become a nasty place. I believe this store could be good again, but it will require some work. Until it is done, I would advise avoiding it. read more

This is by far the worst fast-food restaurant I've been to. December 14th at 8:30pm, My sister and I went into the drive thru and ordered a small snack. When we got to the window we were VERY rudely accused for prank-calling their store, which we didn't. This old woman scolded us and said this: "Just so you two know, it is punished by law to prank call a service and we can trace your call" And then she proceeded by slamming the drive thru window in my face.
