Now I here are Taco Loco's popping up everywhere down here in our little part of the country. The Fajita is super good, pair it with rice and beans and it's serious. The potatoes they make are super good too, pair them with bacon and egg, BAM!. The salsa they make wouldn't be to awesome as a dip, as it seems like it's more geared to their flavor of taco, and man, its awesome on their tacos. The best thing about this little blue taco shop is it's been the same since it began. Good food at a good price and it's never hit or miss. You visit any one of them and you are gonna get exactly what you expect every time, heck yeah. Last but not least, it's a grab and go, 2-3 minutes wait at worst usually. Wish they had one in Clute/LJ area. Sub note....it is a cash only operation, 5 bucks in your pocket is all you should need to have an awesome breakfast and still have enough left over to leave a tip.

It's ugly,it's small, the prices are cheap, the staff...ok one old guy and the sexy looking cashier all make up the morning crew here. Perfect place to to early in the morning since nothing else is open at 5 a.m. except a Whataburger down the road *blah!*. A pretty good selection on the menu. Horrendous restrooms. Horrible parking, if you have something nice to drive.....find a corner or somewhere away from the entrance. You'll see what I'm talking about if you ever get here. Parking spaces are barely big enough for compact cars let alone full size. No soda fountain drinks here, all bottled. Looks like butt but does not smell like butt in here.

I had the carne guisada breakfast plate and their carne guisada is definitely some of the best I've had in a while. The plate also comes with flour tortillas, potatoes, refried beans, and two eggs. Drove almost two hours from Houston for their Saturday brunch only to find the doors locked! Big time bummer! Maybe some tragic event? Hopefully not calling it quits! Bay City NEEDS Fat Grass! Went to Waterfront in Matagorda for lunch instead. Really nice, but not Fat Grass. Upon returning to retrieve our SUV from in front of Fat Grass, we notice that, lo and behold, they are opening for evening service. Felt like walking over and asking why their website fibbed to us, but foot hurting from recent surgery, so just traveled on to my parents house for drinks and the Kentucky Derby.... Therefore, not really a review; just a comment on the lackadaisical attitude of management I've come to expect from lesser establishments these days regarding treatment of "valued" customers...
