Kinda got me confused but whatever's. Each time I've gone here it's always dead. Only a couple people with a lot of seating available. I ordered the number one. It was pretty good. The bun wasn't soggy, the meat was good, the thousand island sauce on it compliments the whole burger and makes it twice as better. Their curly fries were pretty hard though. Also their drinks. I've tried three, one after another of not tasting good. The dr pepper lacked syrup. The high c juice had too much syrup and I just settled with root bear since it tasted decent. This is your reminder that Jack in the Box is subpar fast food, right in line with McDonald's and Burger King. I hadn't had Jack in years and with this location being the nearest to our house I came for an ultimate bacon cheese burger (a Jack n the box staple) and of course a couple of Jack tacos. Well, one thing is for sure, chain fast food restaurants will always forget an item in your order! Never fails. Got home and my 2 tacos were missing. That whole thing about "we don't make it until you order it" not very true, the burger was warm at best, the curly fries tasted like they had been in the deep fryer twice in the day. I didn't even bother going back. What's the point. It's surprising that this place is afloat when you have chic-Fil-a across the street, raising canes next door and in-n-out down the street. I ordered a Bacon Double Smash Jack on Sourdough today just the sandwich, and what I got was beyond disappointing. First off, there were NO onions or pickles, which are supposed to be included. Instead of two patties, I only got ONE. The bacon? Two tiny, pathetic pieces. Add to that a dry, flavorless piece of sourdough bread, two tiny sad slices of tomato, and a barely-there blob of mayo--this was NOT the sandwich I ordered. Everyone loves a quick, feel-good meal and Jack In The Box is great for doing just that! Except for the miserable woman employed there wearing thin-rimmed glasses working the window at drive-thru. As someone who's worked customer service, it's noted that working customer service is based upon being friendly while serving their needs. The issue here, is that people like this rude person make everyone else feel uncomfortable and quite frankly, lose their appetite. To be honest Jack-in-the-Box is your basic fast food that doesn't have a lot of sustenance but since they are everywhere they become acceptable as a late lunch-because-you-are-so-hungry-you-could-eat-a-horse. It's past 4pm on a sunday and after dropping my mom off at her friends place, I drive around Glendora for a quick and easy drive thru. Having lived by a JITB before, I order their all day breakfast platter (Ever notice that you always order the biggest thing on the menu when you're hungry?) and the guy was like "sausage? bacon? sausage bacon?" " sausage bacon - is that a thing? can i mix it?" Instead of replying, he just went ahead and put sausage bacon platter on the screen - but i was another 0.50 cents? I also ordered a promotional item: Tiny Taco Nachos - which are deep fried taco shells with tasty ground meat inside. Normally, the servers ask for your preferred condiments. Ketchup, salt are optional but some JITB will automatically throw it in with the hashbrowns, ; however they ALWAYS have syrup for the mini pancakes. There was nothing in the bag except a fork and a knife in separate plastic. The baby fried tacos were in a carton in a paper bag First of all, Where the heck is my syrup?! I was already driving in Pasadena traffic when i felt around the bag and saw that they did not include it. I was also expecting more carbs... Mcdonalds does an egg-sausage-pancake-hashbrown-muffin combo. Luckily, I got those baby tacos and at $3.49 they hit the spot with the ground meat inside every small taco. HOWEVER i did have a few pieces burn the roof of my mouth and a couple that were cold (i mean from frozen - not cooked /heated well enough cold). Great if all were cooked- highly recommend. I brought my own water in the car but it was warm so it barely cooled my burnt mouth. I held off ordering their lava cake which is usually BOMB.com because I knew the pancakes + syrup would be sugar overload, but now I wish I had gotten it. Lastly, i guess this rating is mostly for the service, and how the lack of training probably made them forgot all the things in my takeout bag. Is it worth complaining to that JITB branch or JITB HQ? Why does your food taste like it's been sitting out and not made fresh. I have come here and a few occasions but am always disappointed in my food because the fries are either cold, taste reheated, the patties on my ultimate cheeseburger tastes old or is hard and doesn't taste fresh.
