I took my new-to-me car to the shop yesterday for brighter headlights. My 2015 Nissan had amber headlights which only offered diffuse lighting for Monterey's oft foggy and unlit roadways. I wanted the opportunity to see and to be seen when I drive at night. The owner emailed me last month to let me know that his shop could install the lights for my budget & the process would take 30 minutes max - no appointment needed. I stopped by yesterday morning & was welcomed into the cleanest mechanic's shop I've ever seen. Not a speck of dust or drop of oil anywhere. Everything was spotless and freshly painted. The vehicle lighting displays were numerous & offered something for every customer. Of course, I'm sensible. The owner suggested that I add fog lights for additional safety while I'm driving and found a set that matched my budget. Done! Lights look great and will ensure that I see everything while I'm driving. The employee who completed my payment transaction was knowledgeable and kind. *Lighting was not only installed, but lights were balanced to optimize my line of sight & other drivers' view of my lights.

These guys understand that at a high level. Most dealerships won't tint the front windshield, and that's a must for me. I always go with 3M Crystalline for heat rejection and clarity. Instead of wasting time coordinating schedules, I just text Tate. No back and forth, no headaches. They pick up the car, do their work, and drop it back exactly where it was. I'll be out of town, come back, and the cars are sitting right where I left them with the keys placed safely and everything handled professionally. That level of trust is rare. I've been working with them for over four years now, and they've touched a lot of my cars. Not once have I had to chase them down, worry about quality, or question the work. I expected quality workmanship and reliable after-sales support, particularly given their advertised lifetime workmanship warranty. Unfortunately, the wrap began lifting and peeling, and the ceramic coating lost its hydrophobic properties after only a few months. Both Noah and Tate acknowledged my concerns. Tate specifically discussed replacing affected panels and applying another ceramic coating. However, despite repeated attempts to arrange the repairs, I've experienced multiple scheduling delays, cancellations and poor communication. On one occasion, I had my Cybertruck ready for a confirmed 9 AM pickup, but the team arrived several hours late. On another occasion, the scheduled work was delayed because the necessary replacement materials were unavailable. Noah eventually directed me to coordinate directly with Tate, but my subsequent messages went unanswered. I have repeatedly made it clear that my Cybertruck is available for the repairs, so scheduling on my end is not the obstacle. I understand that businesses experience staffing challenges and operational changes, but those circumstances should not prevent a company from honoring its warranty or communicating with its customers. I am now considering filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), regardless of whether NorCal Wraps is BBB-accredited. BBB accreditation is not required for a consumer to submit a complaint. I have retained the invoices, photographs and written communications documenting the defects, repair commitments and repeated scheduling problems. I would still prefer to resolve this directly with NorCal Wraps. However, after more than a year of dealing with these issues, I expect a concrete resolution rather than another promise to schedule the work.
