Their kitchen was backed up over an hour and items on the menu started getting dropped. Waitress said we cleaned out the kitchen. They had karaoke on Wednesday and everyone was having a great time. As a Husker fan in town, we dominated the environment and it quickly turned into a Husker bar. Idk how the bartenders ended up with Husker tank tops but they embraced the madness and rolled with it! Only star i had to knock off was them not having the AC on while the bar was PACKED wall to wall on a 98 degree day. We had to leave and go next door because it was so uncomfortable. Unfortunately but everything else was great. They said it was busier Wednesday than St Patty's day was Tuesday. Thanks for hosting a ton of Huskers!

Torta was on the thin side but inexpensive ($5.99), and bread was nice and soft. Flautas were the only real bright spot -- made in-house, rolled thick, and stuffed full of tender, moist, and marinated, shredded chicken. But for $11.50 they really should have come with avocado. Refried beans on the side were dry and grainy. One hit out of three dishes isn't quite good enough. Some other details...Service was good enough but communication was difficult in English. Meals come with set-up -- tortilla chips (from bag), salsa (watered down) and queso (bland). Their three types of salsa in squeeze bottles are authentic & hot. Also complimentary, tiny cup of spicy shrimp soup was so good we got seconds. Giant pile of lettuce under my flautas was unnecessary. They call this a bar, but bar up front is small and more the staff's domain. It really feels more like a family restaurant. Though they do have a stage with live music on the weekends. They are open late nightly, even until 2 am on the weekends. On a Wednesday night we were their lone diners. Dining room was pretty clean but dated and somewhat tattered, tables from a closed catfish restaurant with advertising printed all over them. Women's bathroom was surprisingly clean. Beyond the soup, I didn't try their seafood dishes. I hope they do those better.

We then ordered the green hatch, pulled pork nachos but they didn't have the pork and subbed with chicken. The nachos were good. We finished with a Sangria and a Green Hatch Chili Margherita.
