He believed that I was under influence of drugs when I crashed my car eith kids in it, well he should have done his job, because I have medical evidence now that my accident was due to a brain cyst that has been attached to frontal lobe of my brain since birth and I went 35 years without knowledge as did my parents, so I dont recommend him to anyone especially if u have a cps case because ur kids will never return.

My world was shattered when my husband was killed in a workplace accident last year. It seemed…read morelike all our carefully made plans for our future were unraveled in an instant and I didn't know how I would survive without my partner, my friend, and my hero. Friends of my husband's family in Wisconsin knew someone in Maine who recommended Taylor. From my first contacts with Des and Taylor, I never doubted that I was in the hands of people who truly cared about me and would know how to handle my situation and get a fair resolution for my incalculable loss. Then a lifelong friend of mine from Ohio- also an attorney- contacted me and told me that he was talking to a Portland attorney he often worked with to get a recommendation of the "absolute top professional" to deal with a case as complex as mine. A "seasoned thoroughbred" to quote him. I was delighted, but not surprised when the word almost immediately came back to "go with Gideon Asen. They're top notch." In the year that followed, I never doubted that assessment of the firm. I received the most capable, dedicated and personal service. Every detail of the investigation and preparation of the case was done methodically, thoughtfully and thoroughly. Every question and concern I had was answered immediately, regardless of when I reached out. I believe every member of the staff helped with my case at some point and always made me feel like they had ample time and concern for me. Taylor used his connections to other professionals with differing expertise to complement his own impressive knowledge and skills and crafted a case that I had faith was solid and inarguable and would lead to a fair and just outcome. His mix of humility and confidence was calming and reassuring. I knew that I had a champion on my side. Our case did come to a fair and positive conclusion which has provided me with a sense of justice and accountability. There is a great deal of healing in having our story heard and taken seriously, and peace of mind in knowing that my sons and I will be able to continue living as we had, even if it is without my husband.
