All of it was well-cooked and decently spiced, and the rice was actually fantastic, particularly where the juice from the meat had lightly soaked into it. However, the salad was unfortunately covered in a HUGE helping of red cabbage, which I'm not a fan of - and there weren't many leaves underneath either. I did feel that value-wise, it was a little pricey for the amount we got, and we weren't told that the sparkling water poured into our glasses would be costing us an extra £3. Otherwise though, I did really enjoy the mezes and would head back, although probably opting for one of the standard a la carte dishes instead.

Basically I couldn't find the difference between passanda and makhani dishes, but both are really good. The meat be it chicken or lamb is always tender and nice, the sauces they are in have a nice purée texture. Papadoms with sauces that they serve at the beginning are a must and I could it a ton of those!:) The service here is ok but the waiters rarely smile and if you're not sure about something they sort of make you feel intimidated. Also they don't seem to care much of what you think about them or the restaurant or anything really, they look a bit out of place. At the same time they are not rude or neglecting so I'd say the service could be improved, but though its not terrible. Decor looks dated, the carpets look dirty,and the furniture is fairly old, which makes you feel like you are actually in India:) although you might think that the place looks dirty, but their hygiene seems to be just fine in the kitchen. I've been there more than 5 times and never had any problems. Good place, good food, great value for money, makes you feel like you are in India:)

I tend to eat here in the evenings and weekends, so am rarely in the mood for a roll those times, but those I know who have eaten these tell me they're good. I've been here often enough that I've several favourites, the first and foremost being lollipop wings, which are incredibly delicious and well-seasoned chicken drumlets. They are a little pricey at £4.95 for a serving of three, so this is an occasional indulgence for me, but they are very delicious indeed. I also enjoy another chicken dish - Bhatti Ka Murhg - tandoori-baked chicken with smoked tomato chutney. The chicken is so moist and juicy, the seasoning just so good that we almost always order this each time we're here, even if it was just a few days ago. It's like the Indian version of Nando's because it's just that good - and that's meant as a compliment from my Nando's-loving partner. There are also occasional specials. A couple of weeks ago, they were offering Punjab specials (my favourite was the Amritsa fish, but sadly, no longer on offer) and this week, they are offering dishes from Rajasthan. The staff here are super-friendly, coming over to say hello and/or offering us smiles whenever we drop by, and it's been a real pleasure listening to them tell us about their new dishes or new favourites whenever we have the chance to chat. The decor of Inito - indeed the whole concept of Inito - invites comparisons with Roti Chai and Dishoom, both of which I enjoy, but, I can assure you that Inito is great in its own right. The masala chai is awful - watery chai? I think the likes of Dishoom have spoilt me, maybe? I was advised some great red wine by the staff, which is conveniently priced the same for all the bottles, so you can choose the one you like as opposed to price-judging it. Now with a glass of red, I ordered some chilli cassava - I know.. pigging out much. It was tasty with the tamarind sauce, green chilli and garnish of chopped red onion, but the cassava itself was slightly on the dry side. Did serve well as drinking food whilst it was piping hot though. Had auguri rasmalai which was a-ok.. small bite sized rasmalai? Maybe I am one of those people who really do have a separate stomach for dessert.. this was a bit small for my liking, but cute.. I guess. Is cute food a good thing, or is wow that was calorific, terrific and all the other 'fic words you can think of !! Tastebuds somewhat satisfied but Inito is somewhere between 2 and 3 stars... I gave them a 3 star as the service was friendly, they knew the menu well, I tasted the wine before buying and the taste was A-OK for most of the dishes.

The décor of the place is very neutral and modern, in warm tones which makes it cosy particularly in the evening when they light candles. The presentation of their food, of note the starters, is well thought out and makes the dinner feel special. It's a great place that won't cost a fortune to take a date, or your parents! They have daily lunch specials, and in summer the front opens up to allow 'open air' dining next to the window. The first time I went to Zina Thai I wasn't so keen, although the food was nice it wasn't fantastic, however I returned recently and I have to say the food was much better. They have quite an extensive menu so there is plenty to choose from and relaxed ambient atmosphere made the meal very enjoyable. The only downside was the toilet had broken when I went, but I'm sure it has been fixed since!

The Channa Masala is amongst the worst I have ever tasted, and had the most repugnant aftertaste - it tasted like a ready meal prepared days in advance and left to stagnate. I had to drink glasses of water to wash it down. The lemonade was grossly overpriced and served luke warm in a small grubby glass. When I had paid my excessive bill of £20 (I was aghast at the £2.50 service charge!!), I asked for the bathrooms, the staff were clearly disinterested once I'd paid my dues and I was vaguely told "downstairs". There were no signposts upstairs or downstairs for the toilet and when you did find it, you were almost walking into the kitchen as it was right beside the kitchen door, the bathroom was clearly used by the kitchen staff as it was dirty (and had a urinal beside the sink), and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Horrible end to my afternoon in Hampstead.
