Well known for it's quality and delicious dishes, it has been voted one of the Top Ten Indian Restaurants in the UK twice by the Times newspaper. The menu is an array of all the greats you would expect, at extremely competitive prices. Most starters are around £1 - £2 (apart from the fresh water prawns which are more like £5) and mains between £4 and £10. They don't have a booze license, but they almost encourage you to bring your own, or, as the place is surrounded by pubs and bars, you can always nip out and bring some back from any of the nearby places. The chicken korma I had was delicious, and my (much more adventurous) friend was singing the praises of the liver starter dish for the rest of the night, so it must have been something special. Moghul's don't just play it safe - they offer less traditionally stereotypical dishes such as fish and the aforementioned liver, and for this they must be praised. Very standard affair but well made and just about spicy enough for me. The foody to my right was a little concerned about the origin of his meat. Its a little small and on a day like we've been having recently, incredibly hot inside. Not terribly thin, but much less creamy. Sad times! Despite this, I think one last chance is in order. I did love them so much before, after all. I think the delivery time depends on how far you live from them though and I think i live on the edge of their 5 mile delivery radius. The food always tastes like its been cooked fresh and it always arrives piping hot. We've tried their Nan Kebabs. They have both kinds of kebabs if you prefer your kebab in a pita bread. Their nan bread by the way is awesome. I recommend the Chicken Tika Nan kebab. It's enough food for two people and is very nice. It's full of succulent chicken and veg. I cant eat a whole one - but it does hold up to reheating. It wasn't greasy the next day. We also order the meal deal for two which has their huge samosas. To be fair there is enough food in this meal deal for four people. We always have leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day. Overall the food is excellent and the price is right.
