Our first encounter with Tyler was for the exterior of our home and they did such an excellent job we asked them to then do the interior of our home. Even on the day they were meant to come over to give us an estimate not only did they call to tell us they would be 10 minutes late (much appreciated but honestly I wouldn't have even noticed), after walking around the house, asking some questions on exactly what we wanted to do they were able to come back with a fully detailed and printed estimate on the spot for us to review. We had gotten some quotes from other painters and none were this organized so we knew the job would be done well and efficiently (and it was). They took great care when scraping and making sure to remove ALL the paint chips (it looked like a haz mat site for a few days : ) The entire job (scraping, priming and painting) took less than a week even with a few afternoons of rain. Tyler was extremely helpful in picking out color schemes (who knew there were SO many shades of white?!) and we could not be happier with where we ended up. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The bid was reasonable. His crew showed up when they said they would, and while working they saw a couple places that needed attention (the kitchen ceiling being one area) and did the work at no extra charge. Even with the extra work, Dan came in under the original estimate. I would happily use this company again and would confidently recommend.

Sean Piana and his crew have been contracted by many of my real estate clients selling their homes…read moreover the past few years. His attention to detail, timely communications, transparent pricing and skill level are hard to match when looking for painters. I have had at least a dozen clients contract OTHER painting companies only to see their job continuously get pushed back and fed a steady diet of excuses why they are unable to complete the work, and when the work was done, it was average at best and not worth the money invested. If you are considering ANY type of paint project; be it a hotel, a million+ dollar home, your place of business or just your bathroom, Piana Painting is a must to consider!

Victor wrote me a very detailed quote and we negotiated a price. As my work progressed there were a lot of changes and things had to be redone many times. Victor was always willing to work with me. He painted my cabinets to make them look fresh and new. He painted around wood molding, painted my tin ceilings, my walls and many hard to reach areas. He also had great color recommendations. He often worked late into the night and even weekends to get my job done. Ultimately the job went on much longer than either one of us expected (not his fault in the least) and we had to renegotiate the contract. It was all done with good communication and respect. Victor is extremely detail oriented. He's fun to work with and I now consider him a friend. I would highly recommend him for your indoor and outdoor painting needs :)

Our project included a nearly complete painting of the interior of our home including ceilings, fresh drywall, old plaster and trim. Jody and his team went above and beyond, helping with color recommendations, sourcing and installing new trim that needed to be replaced and even staining new wood trim to ensure the updates to the room matched the history that we were keeping. Most of all though, we appreciated Jody and the team's flexibility. As this was part of a broader remodel, other projects on the house had some twists and turns. Throughout, Jody and the team were consultative, flexible and understanding. Highly recommend!

They didn't protect the windows from the stain. I pointed this out and they returned to clean the windows. There are still smudges on the glass that they weren't able to remove. My front steps have multiple stain marks on them now. I asked Jody to fix the problem. He said he would be over during the week of 8/4 to correct it. I haven't seen or heard from him since. There are multiple areas on the siding with incomplete coverage as shown below. The quality of the work was far below what I expected based on the project cost.

The one who was a supervisor came over to do the estimate without a tape measure or pen and paper. If he would have asked I could have given him the measurements for the decks. Instead he paced them off and then went home and wrote the estimate. My daughter hired them because they were the cheapest($900). They don't know how to cut in when painting and got paint on the siding of the house. They tried to use rollers for everything including the railings. Needless to say they left a lot of bare spots. They did not cover the air conditioning condenser under the porch and it is now brown and white. They refused to do the cracks in the porch saying it wasn't part of the job and when pressed to do it said they would for another $1100. They also painted over the hinges on the gate instead of masking them or taking them off. This was a brand new porch and deck.

He called before starting the work to give us a few days notice. He began the work in the time frame that he had quoted us. Once he arrived with his crew, they worked full time until the work was done. They placed drop cloths over deck, porch and even the tall shrubs. There are extensive perennials around the house and they were careful to not destroy any of them. No mess was made anywhere. They painted neatly and fixed areas of soft/damaged wood. The owner also made sure that all of the windows that were painted could be opened before leaving. The price estimate quoted was fair and that is what he charged us.
