My shipment... Left in the public right-of-way, and partially in the street!

Long story. Short version: They left my shipment in the public street and will not move it onto my property. ---Update---- The corporate office contacted me and offered mea verbal apology and this explanation... "The driver put this there because he did not want to damage your lawn or property" Please note the aditionall photos showing his options. Also, this item is not actually on MY PROPERTY at all. It is on the City's property. My property begins at the sidewalk. ----- I ordered an item from a company who shipped it through this company. It is a very large item. After keeping my item in their warehouse for a couple of weeks, JW Logistics (in Reno) contacted me to tell me when to expect delivery. I had a nice chat (via text) with Emilie. I explained that I would not be home when they delivered. She said that was not a problem and asked where I would like them to put my item. I gave her instructions and she said that would be fine. The day of the delivery the driver called me. I was out of town, in a meeting. I told him I had given instructions to Emilie. I came home 1/2 hour later to my item laying partly in the public street and partly in the right-of-way! I called, texted, and emailed both JW Logistics and the company from whom I ordered the package. When JW Logistics got back to me (via text) I was told that they could not come move the item, as they didn't have the equipment to do so. Sooo, since the installation of my shipment is scheduled for Saturday, my item will be in the public street for 4 days. I went out and put lights on it, so, hopefully, no one will drive into it. What a nightmare!

Ordered a patio set from Home Depot for delivery and set up. Was told both would occur on may 17th. Instead on the night of may 6th this company texted me and advised they would arrive on may 7th sometime between 8:00am and 8:00pm and would give a 30 min call out. I got no call out. Went outsiders about 10:00am and discovered this company had already dropped off the patio set... blocking my walkway to my driveway completely. I tied calling them a dozen times and they never answered. I had to move the massive boxes by myself so that I could actually leave my house. This company is horrible. Home Depot has been made aware thanks so this company I'll no longer be purchasing my home improvement products from them anymore. Sad for Home Depot as they just installed my new carpet and central air and I still have a ton more to do. This company is horrible and hope to see them go under soon.

First delivery when driver attempted to extort money.

2 Complaints for 2 different deliveries: 1. I placed a very large order from Home Depot (kitchen cabinets, vanity, bathtub, etc). All the heavy/large items I paid for threshold delivery. The day before a partial delivery, I received an email from Home Depot saying the delivery of one item would occur the next day. On the day of delivery, August 4, I received a call (voicemail) from William, the driver, stating he was 20-30 minutes away. When he pulled up to the home, he approached me and said he had 12 items that were threshold delivery, but since the cabinets were on a pallet, he could not bring them inside. I thought this was odd, since other items were delivered on a pallet and were brought inside. Because I was at the home by myself, I asked to see just how big and heavy the boxes were to determine if I could unload and bring inside. He opened the back of the truck and I was able to see. But he told me to get on the lift gate to go get a closer look. I got on the lift gate and inside the truck. That's when he tried to extort money from me by saying, "I have CashApp and Zelle. If you help me, I will help you." I got back on the lift gate to get down and he didn't tell me he was moving it. I almost fell off when it started moving back down to the ground. Back to the extortion...I always tip delivery drivers, but his extortion attempt made me angry. Especially since I paid extra through Home Depot for threshold delivery. I told him I don't have either methods of his payment request and to put the 2 pallets on the front porch. Instead of leaving the cabinets on the porch, as I instructed, he left them on the sidewalk. I was able to contact the company via the chat feature on its website and received a call to explain what happened. 2. On August 10, I received a text message from the company stating my order would be delivered the next day, with a 30 minute notification, and to reply with any questions. I responded, "Can you tell me what item is being delivered?" I asked this because the vanity I ordered was lost in transit. I didn't know if it was the vanity or bathtub being delivered. No response. I arrived at the construction site early and waited most of the day. I left for 30 minutes to use the restroom and grab some water. When I came back, the 300 pound vanity was sitting on the front porch. I did not receive a call. Although I consider myself strong, I was unable to bring the heavy item inside. I've called, emailed, texted, tried using the chat feature online again and could not get in contact with anyone today. Home Depot even tried calling and could no reach the company. The vanity will remain on the front porch until the shipping company comes back to pick it up. I still have one more large item that will be delivered next week but will be cancelling that order because this company has done a terrible job at training its delivery drivers and communicating. Why have a phone number listed on the website if no one answers the phone and voicemail is full? Why have a tracking feature on the website if it doesn't work? Why state in a text, "reply with any questions" if the company doesn't respond? Do better!

Tried calling customer service all it does is go to vm. Their tracking website says the tracking number provided by Wayfair does not exist.

Wow! What a fantastic experience. We needed a refridgerator moved from our old house to our new…read morehouse, and Meyers got the job done fast with great service. I found Meyers by chance while searching online for movers who do small jobs. Their scheduler responded within minutes to ask about our needs, and said she could schedule next-day service. For a very reasonable price, Meyers sent two men with all necessary equipment. They arrived early, which is almost unheard of now-a-days, and were efficient, knew what they were doing, and took care to move things where nothing got damaged. All payment was handled electronically through the crew leaders phone (they take credit card, cash, or check). We were done within an hour's time, and there was no hassle or extra fees like larger moving companies charge as "minimums" or "service fees". If you need appliances moved, furniture delivered, or similar services contact Meyers and they can get it done.

It's rare that I write a review immediately after an experience, but I really felt that Meyers…read moreDelivery deserves it. I'm surprised they weren't on Yelp, so I'm putting them on the map. Meyers was recommended to me from a consignment store down in Lakewood. I got three recommendations and they were the ones who called me back first. I had such a good experience with Michelle on the phone, who said she could accommodate me that same day! Unfortunately, I didn't need that quick of service, but she explained her no hidden costs fees. We bought a bedroom set and the store didn't provide delivery services which is why we were referred to a few different local movers. Meyers is family-owned and operated, they were going to charge me $150 for three pieces and $175 for 5 (there was some range in there). For the convenience, I decided to have them bring me all five instead of me having to drive from Plano just to pick up two nightstands. I scheduled it for a Monday and because I was traveling out of the country, Michelle communicated with me by text, which I loved. She answered all my questions and we scheduled it for a Monday delivery with a window of 10-noon. I got a call from Joe Meyers when he was about 10 minutes out, he showed up right around 10 with a guy named James. They came in to take a look first and I showed them where I wanted everything. I had a king bed in the space with a headboard that was already detached, box springs and a metal bed frame. I had nightstands in place and asked if they could disassemble the frame and move the nightstands and Joe said yes to everything. They took a few minutes to assemble the bed and were so careful about moving all the pieces in. They built the bed and then asked if I wanted the box springs in or I could just have the mattress - I chose the latter. They happily moved the box springs upstairs for me, helped me move one of the old nightstands upstairs. They put the other pieces in carefully (dresser and chest) and even moved my heavy plasma TV onto the dresser for me. The whole time, both Joe and James were pleasant and so accommodating and most importantly to me, nothing felt rushed. I didn't feel they were in a hurry to get to their next appointment - they made me feel like I was the only customer of the day (even though I knew I wasn't) and they payment was easy as they take credit card right there and you pay when you're done. I got a card and already told a couple of friends about my great experience! Love supporting small businesses! Thanks for such a great experience!
