They used enclosed sterilized tools for the pedi but not the mani, so that was a red flag for me and why 3 stars. This was supposed to be my Mother's Day present with my girls. I made appointments weeks in advance. We show up and they had us on the wrong day and had an extra person down. They said they could squeeze us in no problem. They start doing the nails and pedi and it was close to close so they only did the pedi on me. With zero communication just cashed us out. Went to JV again for another fill and once again I am so impressed!!! Last time I went I had UNA and she did amazing. Today I didn't make an appointment cause I was in town unexpectedly , the gentle man at booth 9 (didn't catch his name) did a matte wolf grey with a branch design. I am honestly In love. Id have to suggest him and UNA as the best (atleast during my experiences) i couldn't find my color & was very nervous about the design but once again they killed it!! After getting a bad pedicure from JV Nails several years ago, I vowed not to go back. Well, on a Tuesday, I decided to give them another chance and got a pedicure with my daughter. I keep my nails manicured pretty well, so just wanted my cuticles done. The nail technician kept trimming and trimming until they were so short that they became red, bled and were sore for almost a week. The picture is a week after I had the pedicure. To make matters worse, when I stopped by on Monday to speak with them I could barely get the attention of anyone. I was told that the Manager would be in on Friday!! If I ever decide to get another pedicure, I WILL NOT BE GOING TO JV NAILS. read more

ZERO STARS!!! First I called and asked if they do pedicures for men and they said yes for $38. Then it ended up costing $45, he said they charge more to remove the calluses. They don't even have the proper tools and equipment to remove calluses! I have had pedicures at many places and some were pretty bad, this place is the worst by far. My toe nails were left long and rough, and even though they charged more to remove the calluses they barely removed any. My feet were left with a lot of hard cracked calluses that are still painful. Can't wait to get back to California were they know how to do mens feet. read more

Went to get my nails done for a wedding, but don't like acrylics. They made my natural nails look amazing! Went with a baby blue color that is so shiny and pretty. I loved the technician that I had but scheduling appointments was not a good experience. I made 2 follow up appointments and saw the woman write them in the appointment book. Both times when I arrived my appointment was no longer in the book. I decided to try one more time because I liked the work my technician did (simple manicure) but once again my appointment was "gone" and my technician was working with a different customer. The man who greets the customers let me make an appointment for the following day. When I showed up today, he ignored me for a couple of minutes and when I asked if my technician would be available, he seemed to get irritated by my question after acknowledging that my appointment had been mishandled the day before. She was in the middle of a pedicure so I knew it would be a wait. Three times and I will find another nail salon in our area. read more

Had an appointment at 12:30 and they were ready for me as soon as I got there got a full set manicure with gel and only cost $40 it's so worth it. The workers are really nice and the nails come out great. You show them a picture out what you would like and they will do it. I strongly recommend going here it's a nice clean place. I also got a fill and felt very rushed. The gel polish was chipped after a couple days. $100 for a fill and pedicure. Will NEVER return here. I called to inquire on the price of a pedicure, and was told $38 for a basic. Nothing was mentioned that polish/color was additional. I made an appointment. When we arrived, there was no wait. My Daughter got her pedicure. The Lady was very friendly and did a great job (or so we thought). My Daughter decided she wanted a manicure as well, and they were able to accommodate her! To this point, things were great. We were satisfied. When it was time to pay, I was told my total and was shocked. Apparently polish/color is extra (which not 1 person advised us of; not the person on the phone, not the Lady that did the pedicure, and not the Lady that did the manicure). And not only was it additional, but $5 PER COLOR. My Daughter had French manicure, so $5 for the white, and $5 for CLEAR. AND.....the manicure did not use white polish. She used white acrylic tips. 1 full day later, in the evening, my Daughter took her shoes & socks off. Her socks stuck to her pedicure, and completely ruined the polish on 3 toes. After paying $50 for a pedicure, this is unacceptable. I'm not happy, and no time to get it fixed before her event. If I could, I would have selected NO stars for the review. read more

Not a lot of nail choices around here but this was unimpressive. One of those places where they talk in a different language the whole time they do your nails and don't make any eye contact. The lady didn't even clean her tools or area before doing my wife's nails. Still looking for a good place in WNY that does a good French tip nail job. read more

If I could give 0 stars that would be a little bit more accurate, to the service I received. I went in about 6pm. I needed my fresh acrylic set to be painted with polish. (I had the acrylic set filled else wear.) all I wanted was the nails to be painted. She used the light cured polish. It was not busy and she informed me how slow it had been all day, due to weather. I couldn't understand why she was rushing. It didn't seem like she even enjoyed what she was doing and that It was a hassle. I knew the nails were not cured long enough, from previous gel cured manicures. All the polish cured unevenly. It was sloppy and the glitter was clumpy. She did not give me a price until after the nails were painted. I wasn't given any time to question the price. There was nothing I could do after she told me it was $30 not up for debate. I felt that I could've done a better job even with my left hand. Which I might even consider after this experience!! Unfortunately I wasted $30 to not even have the polish on for 24 hours. It has chipped on more than a few of my nails! I'm very disappointed and sour from the experience. I will not be referring or returning. read more

I took my daughter to get a gel manicure for a formal occasion, paid a lot of money for a less than adequate manicure. Her gel started curling and peeled within 4 days. I went back to see if we could get it re-done and was given a hard time and owner accused my daughter of peeling it off herself. Very offended and not happy about his accusation! I will not be taking my business there anymore and will deter my friends from going as well. Very unsatisfied customer!!! read more

I am in town visiting my family, my mom and I wanted to get a pedicure together, I called before we went to the nail salon and was told there was no wait, when we got there we were told a 30 min what, after 40 minutes of waiting we were told another 10 min and 5 minutes later we were told only one of us could get a pedicure and the other one would have to wait another 10 minutes, we have dinner reservations and went with plenty of time before dinner with our family so we had to leave. Terrible customer service and not honest about the wait times, I would give them zero stars, every time I have been to this place the wait time is ridiculous. I will never go back! read more
