I requested quotes on backyard lighting on Monday. I heard back from Atlanta Master Electricians…read morealmost immediately! They said they'd have someone come out the next day, between 11am-1pm, to estimate my project. At 10:40am, I received a text telling me that Arturo would be arriving in the next 30-60 minutes. And at 11:05, Arturo, and his coworker, were at my door with bright smiles on their faces! I showed them the pool/yard/deck area I was trying to illuminate and Arturo asked a lot of questions - basically regarding what I wanted to accomplish ultimately. He genuinely wanted to understand my entire project. He explained 3 or 4 possible options along with the pros & cons of each. He told me he would send me a quote for flood lights, landscaping lights, and a combination of both. Cool! Then, I asked Arturo if he installed ceiling fans by chance. He told me he did; so, I said I would go back on Yelp and create a new project to request quotes for that service. Arturo was like: "No! You don't have to do all that. We're here now; show me what you have and I'll give you a quote." What?!?! Huh?!?! Just like that?!?! I took him, and his coworker, around the house and showed them four ceiling fans that I needed replaced. Arturo gave me a quote on the spot and asked if I wanted the fans done that day. I asked if I could get one done that day and do the other three later. He was more than happy to oblige. My favorite room in my house is the media room with all my Dallas Cowboys paraphernalia. Sadly, I had not been able to sit in there since last summer because the ceiling is high, I am only 5'2", and there is not a ladder tall enough to get me up there. Unfortunately, the rod I bought for the ceiling fan was twice as long as it needed to be. So, I thanked the guys and assumed we would need to schedule a different time for the installation; especially since that was not why they originally came in the 1st place. Nope! Wrong again! Arturo told me to go ahead and run around the corner to Lowe's (literally 8 minutes away) and they would take down the old fan while I was gone. Well, as Murphy's law would have it, there was construction being done; so, the 2-lane road was a 1-lane road. And eight minutes turned into 16. At the Lowe's, the cashier ran the exchange of the rods incorrectly SIX TIMES! So, that 3 minutes turned into 10 minutes. I start to panic because I figured the guys might have to leave to get to an already scheduled appointment (which mine wasn't). I called my sister, at the house, to tell her about the delay and I hear Arturo in the background playing with the dogs. My sister assures me that everything is fine and just to get home safely. I start to see flashing blue lights ahead of me; there's a one vehicle wreck. Further up the road there's a huge power truck in the middle of the 2-lane road. So, now my 8 minute return trip has turned into 12 minutes. I cannot even make this up!‍ I rush into the house with the correct ceiling rod and almost run over poor Arturo, to whom my sister was handing a Coke and a bottle of water. OK? So, nobody's panicked but me.‍ The fan gets installed within a few minutes and I can feel the breeze when I reach the top of the steps even though the media room is at the end of the hallway. I was elated! Neither Arturo, nor his coworker, ever complained or stopped smiling. I am looking forward to getting the quote for the actual backyard lighting project for which Atlanta Master Electricians originally came out. Lastly, Arturo reminded me that I'd probably want to get my putting green installed before the backyard lights so they would know exactly where to place them once they came back! These guys deserve 5 x 5 stars! Five stars doesn't even come close to letting you know how great they are! You will NOT REGRET hiring this company! I would refer them 1000 times over! And I will most definitely be using them again!

I requested a quote to install my Tesla Charger, and Atlanta Master Electricians replied…read moreimmediately. They sent Ron out the next day. I showed him to the breaker box in the garage and explained what I wanted. He took a few notes, asked a few questions, and said he'd send me the quote the next day. I have three houses, so this is the third home I've had a charger installed, so I'm familiar with the process and the price point. So, needless to say, I was appalled at the $2000 quote considering the standardness of the materials mentioned in the quote (except for the "etc."). More importantly, I was insulted that, having done no work in my home, he placed a sticker on my circuit box.

These guys are great. Real pros that know their stuff, and not afraid to do the real work. They…read moretook the time to understand the problem, did their investigation, very thorough and took the time to explain the issue. I am no plumber, but these folks are, and they were gracious with their time, and explained it all, and provide options, pros vs cons, best practices, and did not once pressure me to make a decision. Mark, Eddy, and Mike did a superb job. They had no bias, and gave me all the facts and options to make my own decision. At the end of the day, I feel like I can trust them. Real pros. Arrived when they said they would, did what they promise and even more. Fantastic experience. If you want a plumber you can trust.. look no further.

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.
