Alex went above and beyond from the very beginning, and he continues to do so past closing. He would send me potential homes that met our criteria through the Edina Realty portal. I was impressed when he would add so much helpful (yet unbiased) information when we'd go to showings together. From selling and investing in homes for many years, he has so much valuable experience! Alex basically held my hand through the entire closing process since I'm such a home-buying n00b. He was always available for questions and I felt like he had our back through every one of our decisions and requests. After closing, he continues to offer help and advice as we look to make updates. I cannot imagine a better buying experience and I almost feel bad for people who don't have him as a realtor. I cannot recommend him enough to help you buy or sell property!

He was always professional, listened to our needs, found us some fantastic homes to look at, and kept us informed at every step of the process. He was our realtor when we sold both our homes, and each time it sold faster than we expected and for more money than we'd hoped for. He is very passionate about taking care of his clients and we never felt like he wasn't constantly fighting for us. We've since moved out of state (and we're sad we can't use him where we live), but if we were still in Minnesota, we wouldn't even consider using another realtor while he was in the business.

Detail Oriented and Long Term Mindset…read more Tim is the most wonderful realtor to work with. He is trustworthy, has expertise, and was looking out for us throughout the process!!! My partner and I are first time homebuyers, and were also living out of state and across the country when we first contacted Tim. We chose him because he was very good with technology that allowed us to look while not physically present. Tim continued to impress with his virtual home review videos and his expert eye to see the costly flaws in a house. He was always available and eager to help! He also helped us through complex circumstances of home buying. There were a few external mishaps and Tim helped us pivot and come up with a strategy for next steps. We extended multiple offers and he made sure we weren't overpaying for anything through back and forth bartering. Some sellers didn't want to work with us or convey the full details of the house and he cut through the unwritten rules of real estate and held other realtors accountable. Tim was very knowledgeable from a contracting perspective too. He had estimated costs for repairs and a great eye to spot flaws in any house. He has a contact list for every repair under the sun and was able to get quotes quickly during the inspection period. Which saved us after a house came back with a terrible inspection! Our home buying process was complex since we initially wanted an investment property then transitioned to making it a primary residence. Tim was very patient with us. I never felt pressure to buy a house I didn't like, or extend an offer higher than I felt comfortable with. He was on our side for the 10 months we spent looking. He also responded very quickly and we were able to extend offers on a quick turnaround which is very important. We got a house we love and we will continue to use Tim for EVERYTHING real estate related!!!

He helped us buy and sell, but this review is focused on the sale of our house. This was our first time selling a house, and we were dreading the process, especially the preparations and the evaluation of (hopefully) multiple offers. Once we started the sale process, Tim walked us through all the what-if scenarios of the entire process, including prep, pre-inspection, listing, and talking through the key details that we'd look for in each offer. He suggested that we do a pre-inspection of the house, which initially seemed odd, but after discussing it a bit we thought it was a good idea. And it turns out it was a great idea, as it really enabled buyers to have confidence in the quality and lack-of-surprises in the home, enabling them to write higher offers and/or waive their inspection period. Our house received multiple offers above list price, including some with waived inspections, and we believe that was due to Tim's great suggestion to do a pre-inspection. Overall we had a good time working with Tim, he was very professional and is a reliable communicator.

We didn't get to know Steve very well, but that's because we found a house in about a month! This guy is goooood - professional, knowledgeable, and has experience in homes. He used to flip homes, so he knows if something is of good quality/craftmanship. And that was really important to us knowing how many homes in this market are flipped poorly (we watched too much Holmes Inspection). He also works like a mad man! We received responses from him at 11... at night. He would call us, check in on us, follow up... the works! Our favorite part of Steve, though, was that he never said, "ooooh, offer full price or else you won't get the house." He was on our side. He wasn't afraid to let us put in a fair offer. He was... awesome. I definitely would recommend Steve in a heartbeat... or in a door knock (heh heh heh).

(Heck, we sold the house in four days - and for the best price we could have imagined!) We would absolutely, without hesitation, recommend Steve Casalenda to sell your house. (Or to help you buy your house). Also, he's really one heck of a nice guy, a St. Paul native, involved with the community.

His knowledge, professionalism, and patience made the decision-making and transaction of buying my new home a very smooth and informed one. In working with him, it's clear he brings a lot of knowledge to the table about market home values, purchase prices, costs of repairs and renovation, and the buyer and seller. Joe made buying and selling a really pleasant and good experience, in taking on all the heavy work out of the process to make face time with him easy and enjoyable. It's definitely the case that Adrian Realty goes the extra mile to make sure all the boxes are checked and to secure the deal. I'd recommend Joe to a friend for real estate any day!
