He navigated the banks, the realtors, and the other attorneys in a way that made our lives easy and ultimately made the sale go through! Since then we've counted on him for other real estate transactions, refinancings, and other contract situations where his advice is always grounded in our best interests. He is an excellent attorney, and an even better person. Clifford is an attorney who you know is absolutely on your side. He came highly recommended seven years ago and now we know why. We have recommended him to several friends without hesitation.

My wife and I were on the same page about what a prenup meant for us, and why we were doing it, but we needed independent representation for my wife to move forward. Luckily, Pam was recommended to us and did an amazing job representing my wife so that we could move forward with the process. She was kind, informative, and helped to make sure we understood the prenup process, what it covered, and what it didn't in the state of MA. Pam was clearly well informed, incredibly helpful, and brought a human element that can be lacking in these kinds of situations. In the end, Pam was invaluable in terms of making my wife and I feel at ease both for the rigor of legal council she provided and the attitude she brought to her work. Thank you, Pam!

Let's face it, buying, selling and moving can be the most stressful process that anyone will ever go through....... Having Christopher Shannon in your corner ensures that this transition is going to run as smooth as possible. Chris really goes way "above and beyond" the level of service received from almost all attorneys I've met. He is always efficient, but pays close attention to details. He'll really take the time to understand all the facts before deciding the best course of action for his clients. You can always expect a prompt return phone call or email and he seems to manage his bustling business with ease and confidence. The best thing about having Chris in your corner is his demeanor when dealing with his counterparts... opposing attorneys respect him, which in the end allows him to get whats in your best interest.....

Attorney Shannon assisted me with both matters and was great to work with throughout the process. Attorney Shannon was very helpful in terms of explaining the issues, solving the problems, meeting with me after hours to review and sign documents, and making sure my sale closed on schedule. I would recommend Christopher Shannon to anyone looking to buy or sell their home, and / or deal with the financial and personal complications that can arise post divorce."

This might be the weirdest Yelp review I've ever written. Because, really, it's kinda odd to review…read moreyour divorce lawyer. But here it goes. Yes. I had to get a divorce. It was kinda awful. At the time. Turns out it was the best thing ever, but when you get hit with a shit storm because you find out about insane soap opera like betrayals you kinda lose your shit. And you need someone to help you through it. Besides my friends and family, Arthur Sneider was that person for me. (Full disclosure: I also call Arthur my friend, I worked as an intern for him when I was a law student). And yes, even lawyers need divorce lawyers. I needed someone to tell me what to do. And when to do it. And tell me when I was being cray-cray. Arthur talked me off many a ledge. Something I do with my clients on a regular basis. But I was so out of it I couldn't see that I had turned into the crazy client I always talk about. Doh. But divorce, even when it's the best thing for everyone, is stressful. You have to divide shit and argue about who gets the fucking Playstation 3 (seriously, that happened) and you have to deal with the serious financial repercussions. And sometimes you don't have perspective. Arthur gave me perspective (but also let me try for crazy things like pet support- it didn't work, but he let me be a wee bit nutters). Anyway- I know from being both Arthur's client and employee that he is responsive, attentive, and will do his best for you. As an attorney you can never, ever guarantee results, but I trusted Arthur to do his best and give me the best advice available. The end result? I worked out an agreement with the ex-Husband, we had our hearing, I did a fist pump and happy dance as I was leaving the court room, and I'm free. I'm fucking free. And no amount of stars can express how happy I am about that.

I would like to recommend my lawyer Joseph Sherman as an attorney for family and divorce. My…read moresituation was complex because I was married in Israel where the Jewish laws rule and so I had to get divorce both through the Jewish Rabbinical laws as well as the civil laws. Going through a divorce was the hardest thing I ever had to deal with by myself. Joe was there for me at every step to support me with my legal questions, my emotional heart breaks, and with all matters of complex Jewish laws. We had to go to a state court and a Jewish Rabbinical court. I was scared that my ex-husband wasn't going to give me my religious Get (the religious divorce papers) which are more valuable for me as a Jew, than the civil divorce. The Jewish religious Get (divorce) allows me to get married again in the future in a Rabbinical court. Joe was able to help me through this process to get a civil and a religious divorce at same time. Joe let me from the beginning through our assets divisions and advised me what options I would have. By doing so, Joe saved me time and money and we ended this agonizing process within a few months. Joe made sure to explain to my mother from overseas complex things and calm us when we felt lost. Joe knows how to deal with complex situations in a calm manner that gave me an ease through out this process. Joe is a wonderful lawyer that will make you feel comfortable, he was accessible via email and phone on a weekly basis. He also had to deal with laws that are outside of the country and did everything within his power to give me the best advice. His emails to the other attorney where professional, precise, and to the point. My thoughts were written perfectly by him with my best interest in mind. If you live in the Boston area I would really recommend Joe and if you have any questions I'm happy to answer them.

She always had to have an associate with her so at the end of the day her legal bills were 50% more than opposing counsel. She seemed incapable of handling meetings alone. Even while at meetings she was texting and emailing other clients, most likely double billing them as well. She was extremely unprofessional to opposing counsel to the point of embarrassing herself. She even accused opposing counsel of not being able to talk to women properly, really? Nancy Baskin will come up with reasons to write useless letters and will charge over a $1,000 for them. To this day I cannot find one lawyer in Boston who respects her as a divorce attorney. She created controversy in order to extend the engagement and at a point wouldn't even return calls from her client urging her to keep the process moving. She even forced her client to withdraw money from a home equity loan to pay down her bill when both spouses needed to agree on that withdrawal in advance. i would steer clear of this office if you want to get your divorce done as two human beings and keep your fees to a reasonable amount.

They make a very stressful situation even more stressful by their awful behavior. It was quite difficult to get anything resolved because nancy kept stirring the pot--she kept the divorce going for 2 years to earn fees, not caring about the damage she caused me or my children. It was obvious to me that even the judge couldn't stand how she behaved inside the courtroom. Nancy threatened to sue me if I gave her a review. She needs to be punished. I would never recommend her to anyone.
