They had very positive reviews. I called them first thing Monday morning and was given a 10:45 am appt for the same day! Alma, at the front desk, was so pleasant, friendly, and helpful from the very beginning. At my visits, we talked about everything from Christmas movies to my new kitten! Daniel, the dental assistant, was very welcoming, informative, and great sense of humor also! Lilia, also super friendly and sweet, she explained the billing part of the visit, and I was pleasantly surprised that my bill wouldn't run into the thousands (thanks for my cup and toothbrushes)! The appt for the work to be done on my tooth was the following day.. Dr. Shervin did a great job on my chipped tooth, it well worth the price. My tooth looks very natural. He is very kind, soft spoken, and patient. All in all, the dentist & office staff at King's Dental are awesome. I had a very pleasant experience and I have chosen them as my primary dental provider. I will definitely recommend King's Family Dental Group to my family and friends...and to anyone reading this review! My very first appointment with them got canceled the morning of, I rescheduled the appointment &…read morecame 30 minutes early to my appointment and the dentist came to see me 40 minutes after my appointment time(not including the 30 min I came in early). When the dentist came in, he had no courtesy, didn't apologize for the wait just came in, looked at my x-rays & took all of two minutes in the room and said that there was nothing that they can do for me that day and I had to get referred. I got referred had a root canal done, but I had to go back to that dentist office to get my crown. I called today to schedule and I explained what I needed done told them what happened. Booked an appointment got my appointment confirmed, requested the time off to come in for that appointment that was confirmed got it approved from my boss and everything was sent in place. Couple hours later I get a call saying that they need to cancel that appointment because That is not the right appointment slot and they don't have a specialist to see me that day so I need to get pushed back another week or two. When I called back to resceduale the person who made my appointment, answered the phone as well and explained that it needed to be canceled. I explained that I was frustrated. She put me on hold then somebody else answered the phone and said I apologize, but my coworker didn't know what you needed to be done and that's why we're calling to reschedule the appointment. I I explained that she did know because I told her what I needed done and what happened then she says "I did have a word with her and I gave her some feedback" which can't be true because she had just told me that it wasn't her fault because she didn't know. This place has no regard for people's time and doesn't know anything about how to treat a customer. In the end, I didn't reschedule to get my crown with them. I'd rather go somewhere else.

The whole team makes you fill like friends and family dr shafa is good at explaining but doesn't scold you ( which I deserved) Mr delmy is like the Tia everyone has sweet and cool. Mr Lilian explains everything with billing and offers options. I hope I'm talking about the right person I think her name is Marlene I'm almost sure of it is the receptionist that always finds a way to squeeze me in because my schedule is so hectic sorry for always canceling when u call to confirm. I've had 3 root canals ( hence the scolding I mentioned I deserved) everyone told me they'd hurt but I hardly felt it with dr shafa . I've had dental work done in the past that's had to be redone, and have had my fair share of unpleasant experiences, even during routine cleanings. I've been so sore and in pain for days, unable to properly eat, from just a regular tooth cleaning - I used to dread those appointments. It was very simple to make an appointment online which was already a plus. This place is also about 10 minutes away which was also convenient. The front staff is nice, not rude or condescending like some other places. I didn't have to wait long until I was called in. I had X-rays done, and then the Dr came in and actually spent a good amount of time just getting to know me as a person. After looking at my X-rays and doing a quick exam, he gave me a simple treatment plan for one tooth. He explained everything thoroughly and answered every question I had. I was even able to get my teeth cleaned with Zareh the same day and he was really efficient and gentle - no pain or soreness afterwards at all. I'll be going for my treatment in a few weeks so I'm a little nervous but feeling optimistic. I'll have to update this review after treatment so hopefully everything goes smoothly.

You do need to have a PPO or pay out of pocket for the services. I like how there is always parking at the office and that it is gated, so less fear of your car being dinged. While I do appreciate the Dr., the hygienists, and the dental assistants; I do have to contradict some of the previous reviews. Dr. Kohanoff is rough. You have to brace yourself when he is doing your cleaning. I have a pretty good pain tolerance, but I'm still sore the day after getting a cleaning from him (don't worry, he does numb the areas during the process). Other than that, his work is superb. Would be nice if I could watch TV while getting work done... trying to avoid awkward eye contact can be a challenge otherwise.
