I've been coming to this dentist for many years....over a decade actually. If you are searching for a welcoming professional, this is the spot to go to. The Dr. And his staff are friendly and keep up with your life events which makes it feel less clinical. Veronica, the secretary, sends text reminders for your appointments. Something I prefer over phone calls. She is also diligent when it comes to contacting insurance companies-an issue we dealt with in the past. You do need to have a PPO or pay out of pocket for the services. I like how there is always parking at the office and that it is gated, so less fear of your car being dinged. While I do appreciate the Dr., the hygienists, and the dental assistants; I do have to contradict some of the previous reviews. Dr. Kohanoff is rough. You have to brace yourself when he is doing your cleaning. I have a pretty good pain tolerance, but I'm still sore the day after getting a cleaning from him (don't worry, he does numb the areas during the process). Other than that, his work is superb. Would be nice if I could watch TV while getting work done... trying to avoid awkward eye contact can be a challenge otherwise. read more

Been here twice already, one of for an emergency. Dr. K has been great. Highly recommended..! His front office staff and assistants are pleasant and professional. During my last visit, there was a new process with my insurance procedure. Based on the fact that his office was out of my network, I was required to pay up front and reimbursed later. I only have HMO for dental insurance, so every time I come here, it's not covered by my insurance. But it's so worth it. Dr. Kohanoff and the entire team is AMAZING. I have a huge restoration plan ahead of me and every time I come in to get some work done, Dr. Kohanoff always informs me that there's a possibility of a root canal... But he's very careful, highly skilled, and super accurate that I've only had one root canal so far! He has saved 3 or 4 of my teeth from root canals and the fillings are truly just a piece of art - can't even tell they're fillings! They look like my real teeth...only this time, they're perfect! I came to Dr. K a few years ago I was happy with his work. Then moved out of the area and tried a dentist closer to home. That dentist suggested I needed to get some work done that made Me feel nervous. I came to get a second opinion with Dr. K. Dr. K was very thorough in explaining what it was I needed to get done and the process. Without a doubt I selected Dr. K. His workstations are very clean and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort when doctor was working on my teeth. Veronica who is in charge of booking appointments is very friendly. I like that she will text me to remind and schedule my appointments. I don't really like or have time for phone calls so I like texting. Parking is not a hassle. It doesn't get crowded and noisy. I've been going to Dr. Kohanoff since I was about 4 or 5 years old. I'm now 27 and wouldn't go to any other dentist! He's so thorough and efficient with his work. The dental hygienist there is super nice and truly cares to make you feel the most comfortable you can be. All of the dental assistants are sweet also. The receptionist at the front is on top of all the appointments and even sends out texts reminders to let you know your appointment is coming up. The office is clean and the parking is a breeze since it has it's own lot! Our family has now gotten my dad's brothers and sisters to start coming here with their own families! One family even drives from OC every so often to get cleanings and work done by Dr. Kohanoff's office! Def recommend! read more

This dental office is a great experience from the moment you walk in to the office. The staff treats you good from Veronica in the reception area to Maria as the assistant to Dr Kohanoff. Although I have always been scared to go to the dentist, these folks help you through the process by the excellent customer service skills they practice with every patient. Dr Kohanoff is a master in his craft, he should be a professor of dentistry. The work he performs must be excellent or he will send the items back to the lab until they are to his satisfaction. I never wait in the lobby more than 5 minutes when I have an appointment. I've been to some dentists and you wait and wait and wait. I've been to some that just schedule an appointment for xrays, then you have to make another appointment to get your teeth cleaned. He did all in 1 appointment, major plus for me. There isn't much to the office, no kiddy zone, no TV, no treasure chest for your kids to pick a toy from.
