They have a fantastic range of other products available as well as a service linked to a local GP practice which allows them to pick up your prescription from the surgery and prepare it for collection. Decidedly lacking in manners, he seems to enjoy the company of women rather than male customers. If you manage to get a smile or a hint of positive emotion consider yourself lucky. He will always give you the cheapest generic version of the medication you need. If you ask for an alternative, prepare for a long winded moan that will result in refusal. There are 2 other pharmacies nearby, with better service, less sexist aggro and better help all round than this "corner shop chemist".

They've got some nice little toiletry and cosmetic ranges, but unfortunately they are a little more expensive here than on the high street. Great for an urgent purchase but not so much a full shop. If I had a prescription from the doctor during my four years of uni, I would look forward to coming to the pharmacy because they were really pleasant. Now that I don't have a regular pharmacy that I use, I do miss that familiarity. Now I've got to find one with staff as lovely as Right Medicine's!

Their service is great and they are happy to answer questions or give advice even if it is a bit embarrassing eg about piles! As well as the usual prescription services, they also do a great range of over-the-counter medicines, toiletries and gifts, and I would highly recommend giving this unassuming little shop a try!

I am aware though, that it basically sells all the stuff that Boots does, in slightly cheaper and more downtrodden surroundings, so if I am ever on a quest for toiletries of some sort, I'll usually at least stick my nose in here for a look. Although it's essentially a discount cosmetic and perfume store I've seen the products here cheaper or just as cheap in the local supermarkets when doing the weekly shop or at Superdrug. Most of the products stocked here are predictable; Herbal Essences (which although smells really nice is actually rather rubbish), Dove, and a few lesser known brands. I guess worth while for a browse to see if they have what you're looking for but it's really nothing special.
