(Impressive as the checkout area was only small, given the size of the store and the fact there are no self-service checkouts) As a small store, the selection is limited but is decently stocked given their size. Due to the size of the store, the facilities are limited compared to what one would expect from Boots, and offers the bare minimum, while also shutting earlier than other nearby locations, at 6 pm. 3* - OK, good location but much better pharmacies nearby from Boots and rival brands.

I used to use my Boots points to pick up shampoo, toothpaste, etc... after the security checks but one day - no Boots! But, was I left out in the cold? Nope, because a Superdrug had appeared out of nowhere! I'm a bit boots loyal, but hey - a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. So I wandered around the unfamiliar shelves of Superdrug and was pleasantly surprised to find all my favourite brands - most on special offer! So nice that the high street deals and prices are the same inside the airport. Being new, it was clean and shiny and well stocked. All in all, a successful and pleasant shopping experience and a great way to get full sized toiletries into your carry on (and most airlines allow a bag of items purchased in the airport so if your carry on is stuffed you're still good to go). Now I just need to sort out a Superdrug loyalty card.

Ruby and Millie is another well known brand that this boots stocks as well as Boots No7, the makers of the famous Protect & Perfect serums. I've worked on The Royal Mile for about six or seven weeks now, and have already seen two rather sizeable, drink and drug fuelled brawls outside. It really is quite astounding that the powers that be send the junkies here, to the city's main tourist thoroughfare, for their pick-me-up. They order yer prescription meds in promptly and if you order regularly they will order in extra so that they have some for you right away next time. The pharmacy section is fairly busy with it being so central and waiting times for a prescription can be quite long. They have a good selection of sandwiches and snacks. Upstairs there is a large baby section with lots of choice and a baby feeding and changing room with bottle/food warmers and changing mats, though the nappy bin could do with being emptied more often. There is also a photo counter upstairs and a small opticians service. There is a small homewear section and in November and December there is a good selection of Christmas gifts for children and adults usually most of the gifts are included in the 3 for 2 price offer.
