I do live in Pahrump Nv. so I decided to call the Kawasaki dealership in Pahrump and they assured me they could take care of me . The minute I walked in the dealership the young lady that was in charge of customer service greeted me and went out of her way to answer all my questions. The service dept. was equally very friendly and helpful. It took about 3 hours and they called and told me the service was done. When i was told how much the bill was I could not believe it. The bill was $126.00 and the service dept. went over all the details with me and took the time to explained all that had been done. I am old school and do not see fairness and great service like Parker's Kawasaki displayed. They do have a life time customer in me and I will tell anyone who wants to listen that this is by far the best dealership I have ever worked with and I have worked with many!!! Finding mechanics to work on bikes older than 10 years is hard enough already but what a great place motozone is to get work done. Pricing is very reasonable too. FInding a rear rotor for my 08 GL1800 isnt easy unless i want to drop $912 for an oem one. But after looking through some gently used units and going over which one would be the best Cody took the time to help check them out and advise me which one. ( i know nothing about brakes and rotors and dint want to buy something that potentially had something i couldn't recognize to be bad). So kudos for the time and effort despite how busy they are to help me make sure i purchase the right part even if its not through them. They dont price gouge anything he could have ordered it through ebay for me but told me if so there would be a 20% upcharge and was open and honest about it. Yet again the Scooter Shop Las Vegas has saved me. About 3 miles down from the shop the drive belt…read moresnapped. I walked my moped down to the Scooter Shop Las Vegas and purchased the drive belt. I didn't have a impact wrench on me so Kevin was kind enough to go ahead and stop what he was doing and lend me a hand with his impact. Upon taking off the CVT cover checking it out we both noticed the shrouds on the variator were shredded from the belt. Kevin provided me with all the parts necessary! He also helped me with placing the belt back in place and he practically showed me how to install everything and helped with the setup and installation of the new variator kit. In 20-30 minutes I had everything back up and running and I was riding once again. Thankyou once again to Kevin & Scooter Shop Las Vegas. If you didn't know Kevin is a intelligible, knowledgeable & more then qualified mechanic. I frequent often and I don't waste my time going to other mechanic shops for my scooter. The prices are good here. They don't over charge. The people are honest.
