Was recommended to Ray by a neighbor, which was a good sign to begin with. Even though he was in…read morecrutches at this time, he was eager to help us out with our recessed lighting installation, and had a helper. He was able to figure out the funky wiring that we had at our old house, and helped us solve some of the glitches we had. Ray was personable, and experienced at what he does. Glad I went with Ray for my electric needs.

I needed a job done and had three actual electricians come out to provide estimates. While the true…read moreprofessionals were at my house, I requested they look at the breaker that Ray and Randy were so offended that I questioned. All three looked at and confirmed during their individual estimates that the breaker that Randy put in was incorrect and NEVER should have been left that way. The breaker wasn't completely set and was causing intermittent issues. The breaker was to a Sump Pump room in the basement and never would have been noticed had real professionals not taken a look at it. It is clear the breaker didn't fit. Randy tried to wedge it in and almost caused damage to both my panel and worse, my home should I have needed the pump to work. I tried to remedy this with Ray, the owner, who sent me a scathing - I am a rock star, google me, I'm out touring with bands do you know who these bands are because I'm important and if the guy I sent to do a job says it's done right - it is. When in reality, his guys mistake almost cost me a lot. Thankfully, one electrician swapped out the breaker at no cost as he was ashamed someone in the business would leave it like that. A swap that Randy told me would be 350 if he had to come back.

Moved up to Rhinebeck in 2020. Had T Webber install a new boiler in our home for $16,000. Over the…read morenext two years 3 heat exchangers had to be replaced all under warranty from the manufacturer. But for labor to install the first I was charged over $2,000. The 2nd and 3rd no labor was charged. Now in for $18,000 the boiler breaks down again in December, 2022. T Webber can't find any parts from their suppliers to make the repair. They call the boiler manufacturer and ask about the needed parts. Manufacturer replies "they have none of the parts in stock. The parts are on back order with no known expected delivery date provided." T Webber offers to provide electric heaters. I decline. Clearly the boiler is defective. If it was a car it would have been taken back under the lemon law by the dealer. T Webber "generously" offers to sell me another boiler and provides some allowances to reduce the price to $14,000. In the middle of winter I had no other option but to purchase another one. I try calling the installation manager numerous times, leave messages and get no return phone call. Ended up suing the boiler manufacturer and T Webber. The manufacturer and I resolve the issue out of court. I speak with the attorney representing them and ask if they would settle out of court. He brought the matter to them. They offered a two year premium membership and $2,500 in future repairs. Reminder; I'm in for $32,000 for boilers in 2.5 years. I countered with $7,500 in other future repairs (plumbing, electrical etc) and free maintenance of the 2nd boiler for as long as I reside in my home. Called the attorney multiple times for a counter offer. He hemmed and hawed, made some excuse about their reviewing it. No offer came until the trial began. The judge threw out the case due to faulty service of the summons. This is what you deal with when you do business with T Webber. Aside from that any parts they supply you is triple the cost of the actual price. Find somebody else for your appliances and repairs.
