He decided to google "mobile mechanic" and found SS Marine. Brandon, the owner & operator of SS Marnie, called him the same day and was at the lake the next day to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem. He quickly figured out it was the starter. We discussed the parts to order (OEM or aftermarket) and a few days later he was back out installing the parts and my boat runs/starts great now. He is a true life saver!!! Always proactive in taking care of our Regal boat and jet skis. We've worked them from technical work to winterizing for over 10 years! Literally, never disappointed on the quality of work, advice and cost. It's hard to find such - literally high quality care and experts in Mabank/GBC/Tool/Malakoff. Ashley and Tim are amazing! We paid Nortex to work on our newly acquired 24 year old boat. After 3 service tickets and $4000 we…read morethought we were done and ready to go. The boat wouldn't start. When we called Tony we were told our batteries were old. We explained that prior to the generator carb rebuild they just accomplished the engines started just fine. He insisted the batteries were the issue so we ordered 3 batteries. After a week the batteries hadn't arrived so we purchased them elsewhere and paid someone to install. The boat still wouldn't start. After a day of troubleshooting we found the DC Battery switch panel. The battery switches were turned to off. We switched them to ON and the boat started immediately. They don't listen. They don't want to troubleshoot. They just want to sell more services.
