I had several large trees removed from my lot between Columbus and Nashville IN. There was a large tree that came up through our second story deck, very close to the house. They have a special telescoping crane that went over the house. At the end of the remote controlled crane, there is a device that attaches to a section of the tree to stabilize it, then a chain saw on the device releases that section, which is gently lowered to the ground. They showed up on time on the day we scheduled. They were very professional and cleaned up when they were done. I would highly recommend them. David S

I would strongly recommend against using Franks Tree Service…read more Franks recently cut down a number of large trees in my next door neighbor's yard. The only way into the neighbors yard is across my yard. While they had requested to use my yard via the neighbor, they never contacted me to discuss logistics or timing. As you might expect, I was very surprised to arrive home one morning to find that they had driven several large trucks through my back yard, less than a week after a flood of the driiftwood river had that portion of my yard under 4 feet of water. They left me two very nice 6 to 12 inch deep ruts across the full width of my yard. Surveying the damage, I asked to speak to the owner, and when he arrived, he didn't apologize and appeared to place the responsibility for correcting the situation on my neighbor. Now more than a month and two calls to the owner of Franks later....nothing has been done. I understand that mistakes can be made....but not owning up to their responsibility for correcting their mistake is intolerable. Please choose more responsible providers than Franks.

They came out and removed the tree and stuff all the while rutting up the yard, with there trucks…read more Not just one truck but three trucks and a skid steer. They put no ground protection down prevent the damage. They were chosen because their price was less, we see why now.
