I've been working out for over 20 years and have tried many different avenues of getting fit. This is the first time I've gotten true amazing results. My body is strong and toned and I love it. Adam is professional with a great sense of humor and just awesome. I even recommended him to my best friend and she quickly achieved amazing results. I also love that he created an incredible space with great energy in the garage that has everything you need to work out including ropes! This is great for anyone who wants to avoid the crowds and madness of gyms. He also makes sure everything is wiped down and sanitized! Thanks for all you do!!

If you're looking for a personable trainer to hold you accountable while making sure you understand…read morethe "why" (i.e., science ) behind the nutrition and exercises he recommends, Adam is your guy! Adam has been my trainer for several years now, and I've been amazed at the results both to my physical and mental well-being. Personal training isn't something that just impacts your physique - I've experienced more clarity in my thinking at work, better emotional stability, and overall increase in happiness with my consistent routine. More importantly than the results, however, is that I've been injury-free during the years I've been training with Adam - he knows what he's doing and personalizes your diet and exercise plan according to your body's strengths and weaknesses. Many beginners are quick to work-out on their own, doing complex lifts with too much weight and incorrect form, only to blow out their back or aggravate a muscle and be out of commission for months. Don't make that mistake - have Adam in your corner to compound improvements to your health the right way!

I've taken about 3 of the HIIT Strength and Conditioning class. Modern Fitness is located at the…read moreend of a business plaza. It's pretty small space that is separated to 3 main areas: front stretching area and two rooms that are used for the gym sessions. There are little cubicles in the hallway to stow your stuff and a small recovery room and bathroom. Everything was very clean and towels are provided. The class is about roughly a 35-40 minute class. There are multiple stations where you do 2 sets of 45 seconds and as many reps as possible in that time. You rotate through quite a few stations. Overall, it is a pretty good workout. It's not the hardest HIIT class I've been to, but I like it for one big reason and the main reason for the 5 stars: the machines. I've been to many different style HIIT classes and this is the only one that has machines incorporated for isolations. From a bicep curl machine, hip thrust machine, leg curl machines, smith machine, and my favorite: the leg press. I don't have room for a leg press at my home gym so this was nice to use again. Lu, the owner/trainee, does a great job and not only remembering everyone's names, but capabilities. He also does a great job bouncing around help setting up machines and correcting form while the workout is going on. I have 2 minor negatives: 1: I'm not a fan of at the rack with the bar for bench press you start from the safeties. I get why they do it for more efficiency when switching between people, but much rather start from the J cups. 2: stretching is not built in so you have to get here early and stretch on your own. Overall, I've added this gym to my regular rotation of gyms I go to for HIIT classes each week, not really for the difficulty but for the incorporation of the machines into it. I still get a good workout, my HR just isn't as high as other gyms. The culture seems pretty good as regular members seem to know each other well and Lu knows each person well. Would recommend if you live close.
